How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe location is great 👍 nice to walk around Paris The size of studio is ok even for family if you mostly focusing on touring and sightseeing Paris and just use it for sleep , quick rest in between and eat breakfast/ supper. This was our purpose so for us was enough and it was still good value for money in may half term for Paris !!
The cleanness is ok-ish but not spot on as I am used to , but I think it is just a French thing . Surely microwave need some good clean hence we did not use it and I think sofa bed need to be change as it looks worn off and there are some metal around so I had to put pillows around for my son not to hit himself

Verified reviewThere was NO BREAKFAST . This property has a small kitchen and we made our Own. Very near to the Metro . 300 metres , GARD E EST is just 2 Metro stations away . 5mins . (10 MINS walk to GARD E EST / PARIS EST ) . LOTS of restaurants , cafes and especially ,indian , chinese , thai , Kurdish , Turkish , French , Italian restaurants . CARREFOUR supermarket . Lovely place . GOOD HOST . MR JOYCE . IMMEDIATE RESPONSE . I will go back . Walkable distance to monuments . ( 15 to 25 MINS Walk ) VALUE FOR MONEY FOR 4 ADULTS . 1ST FLOOR .

Television, but without the possibility to watch sth, streamed or satellite. The humidity extractor at the bathroom was full of fluff. Overall wasn't dirty, (you could easily spot things that was a quick fix job), but you couldn't feel cleanness in the apartment. There is an absorber, but its not possible to cook, because there is no pipe above it.
Sorry about that we have actually ordered a new set for the TV and the table and bathroom will be checked for our next guests

Verified reviewLocation. About 400m from metro and a great wee supermarket. Facilities were clean (ish). Obviously some renovation work has been done. We were pleasantly surprised at the overall condition of the apartment given the building site entrance to the place.
However, only 4 coffee sachets for a 4 day stay for 3 adults? Similarly, only 1 toilet roll supplied. Some fixtures need fixing. Had to hold onto power plug fixtures when pulling a plug out otherwise they tended to start coming out of the wall. The heater fell off the wall as the plugs pulled out of the wall lining.. The shower had black.mould in some of the lower groutings. Entrance door into the apartment opened the wrong way which made it awkward to open the door and pull a wheeled bag in.

Verified reviewApartment had everything required, was very clean and comfortable. Instructions to gain entry was easily understood. On last night there was a issue with the main entrance. It wouldn't open and we were soaked trying to gain entry. We didn't know who to contact. Fortunately a man who lives in the building came to gain entry and he knew how to open it if it didn't accept the code

There was work going on at the entrance and up the stairs of the building, filled with what smelt like cement or plaster, not ready to let for sure.. this was disappointing to see but it did not affect the actual room. I suppose there will be no issue once building is complete.

Verified reviewLocation was amazing! Apartment was handy to so many things. Building was off Main Street. Building site directly below but building works only started 9am and if you are in Paris you should not be sleeping in! Well stocked kitchen utensils.
No aircon- very very uncomfortable with high heat and humidity. Could not leave windows ajar. Either fully open or fully closed so could not manage temp.

Verified reviewThe localisation is really good. The flat is so small. Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty, the least tidy was the shower. Curtains and windows unknown when they were washed/cleaned. Check in is very late and check out very early. Deposit of a fairly high amount of 200 euro is required
