How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThis was a great cozy apartment in Montevrain, only a short walk to the RER station which easily takes you to Disney (10 min) or into Paris (40-50 min). Space was clean and tidy. Host was very responsive and check in instructions were very clear (and also fun, felt a bit like a treasure hunt). It also had an elevator which was great for bringing luggage up and down.
Shower / bath was a bit slippery so just something to be cautious of! There is only a shower curtain so we needed to grab the counter top to be steady when getting out. Not a big deal for us as we were careful but may be slightly difficult for those with mobility issues.

Verified reviewWe had a perfect stay! Dominique took care of every detail and made sure nothing was missing. The apartment is just one stop from Disneyland, with an Aldi supermarket conveniently located only five minutes away. The instructions for finding the keys were very clear, and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt right at home. The apartment is cozy, clean, and clearly well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was a lifesaver on a warm night, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our two-night stay. Highly recommended!
Nothing, all was perfect!

Verified review+ location: less than 5 minutes from the station Val d'Europe (entrance next to Ibis hotel!) to go to Disneyland! In january, there are not a lot of visitors in Disneyland compared to the summer, so the trains are also not that filled, which is way more fun for us. + interior: so pretty and cozy. The hallway of the apartment is painted with greyish baby blue. The doors have golden numbers. There are many doors, therefore many apartments. The hallway looks like as if you're on a cruise or Disney hotel! It really adds to the experience. We used the elevators. Even if there are many apartment units in this building, we never were disturbed by sounds from neighbours. The window has view on a tree and some grass and a busy road. + studio apartment: there are metal blinds besides the blue curtains. You have to turn the white rod on the right in order to move those metal blinds. This way, you can sleep in peace without any sunlight disturbing your sleep! As the studio is small, it takes almost no time to warm up the studio using the central heating system. In the bathroom, you can find many toilet paper and there is a heating towel rack! This way, you can dry yourself off with a hot towel! Feels amazing. Bathroom can also get warm with that heating towel rack. The kitchen has a big roll of thin paper towels that you can use for various uses such as wiping your mouth after eating. That is a plus honestly. Also, no bed bugs were found while we stayed here in January.
- Cutlery was not always clean. For example, a wooden spoon for cooking contained traces of mold. - Apartment was clean but one of the white towels contained some black spots. - There was no shampoo or shower gel provided while we stayed here. We brought our own. - Pillows were thin, they have no bounce. - A manual on how to control the central heating system would be nice. It always tries to go to 21° Celsius. Meanwhile, i wanted it set to 18° for the whole day. I still don't get how the system works. - On the TV you see an app to cast your phone screen on the TV. But on google, many people say that that app is a scam app and hacks into your phone. So do not use that app! Just cast your YouTube phone screen onto the TV so you can watch disney movies (in pieces: scenes are split up as to avoid copyright claims).

Verified reviewEverything was easy to use, very tidy and felt at home. Very modern and felt clean, even if there were a few stains. Instructions were clear and helpful.
The place was very good, there are just a few things that I feel you should be made aware of and would make this place 10/10 Glasses and towels wasn’t clean, the glasses were sticky and there was stains on the towels, There was also stains on the bedding, and would prefer a thicker mattress protector. There was some toiletries left behind and had to bring our own dish soap because didn’t want to finish the bottle if there was some in there. Was a bit humid in the evening, a fan could be of use for the summer if possible.

Verified reviewEverything about this property was excellent. We travelled with a 1 year old and everything we needed was close to hand. We felt safe in the neighbourhood, an Aldi round the corner which allowed us to cook our meals but it does close at 8pm so if you are late getting there like us and looking for food or milk for the baby bear this in mind, but restaurants there to help you as they helped us out with our baby milk (or if you just didn't fancy cooking)! The train station was a 5 minute walk which went to both Disneyland and Paris. The apartment was clean with excellent facilities, quiet with no road noise and a baby cot provided which had clean sheets and a comfy mattress and unlike many other places it was set up for us I didn't have to chase for it. Dominique was great at answering any questions I had and very quick at responding. I hopefully will be back one day to stay again.
