How guest reviews work

You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast could have been varied, it was the same everyday. Went down at 9am and no hash browns left and spoke to a member of staff who said won’t do anymore as had some left yesterday and did same amount today. So sadly no hashbrown if you go at 9am which seems crazy as breakfast is until 10am. Hope they didn’t run out of anything else as not much choice anyway for hot breakfast. Gave receptionist key at door of restaurant as sign said on reception to go to that desk. When returned back in the evening, lady on reception said already given key out!! Strange as didn’t give it to us, she then got a key from the cupboard. When we checked out handed key in and then had a call asking if we had the second key!! So seems like it has been lost by reception and hopefully not just handed to someone else and they find it.

Lift from car park broken on arrival, had to carry bags to reception area, 4 floors. One lift broken for 2 days from reception, which for the size of hotel made everything very slow, and to find the stairs was not easy. Breakfast was below standard, the hot food looked like it had been standing for a while. The layout of the breakfast buffet meant lots of people meandering in different directions, the tea was very 'cheap' tasteless, and if you could find a cup/mug the hot water from the machine was not always forthcoming.the cutlery was dirty, and bowls needed to be restocked quickly. Cheese selection is limited to 2 types, no tomatoes, no pain au raisin, small croissants. Didn't eat in evening after breakfast experience. Felt catered mainly for tour agency bookings rather than individuals.

Breakfast is mediocre (all the warm stuff are not really warm, including scramble eggs...) No real spa - just small "sauna" room with temperatures below 75°c - this was a big disapointment.

The hotel is a bit outdated and it was a bit hard for me as I’m allergic and almost the entire area of the hotel is fitted with rather dusty carpets. However the staff was very nice and they vacuumed it after my request and I was feeling significantly better!

Verified reviewHotel selling point is location. We felt it was a really fair price. Rooms good and hotel always very clean. Rooms cleaned everyday and fresh towels given. Breakfast good selection of pastries, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage, hash browns, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham and bread etc. I didn’t think the female reception staff were very friendly or helpful. The male in reception was, all the bar staff and the owner always very friendly. But we did wait around 1/2 hour when we arrived to be seen at reception despite asking staff members in the dining room several times for assistance. We were tired from our journey and no one wants a wait before you can even be seen at reception. When the lady did come she wasn’t particularly welcoming which was a shame given how helpful the rest of the staff are.
A couple of the reception staff let the side down. Others really great stay.

Verified reviewWe had bed and breakfast at the hotel, and ate out for other meals. Rooms were comfortable, the staff were all lovely. Position of the hotel was great, especially if any of the party are beginners, because it was a very short, simple ski to the nearest ski lift which takes skiers up to a teen run.
The only niggle we had was with breakfast which could be slow at times. It was self service, which included using 3 coffee machines, however every day 1 to 2 of the machines were out of use for periods of time which was problematic because the machines took a long while to brew, there were often no cups available either which meant there were often queues - not great if children had to be at ski school. Fresh fruit was available but it wasn't great quality. An egg boiler was available for the first couple of days, but we were then told it was broken so couldn't boil eggs. I think there was probably a lack of staff available to keep on top of things during breakfast but the staff that were there were helpful. Small plates would have been good in the bar in the evening, because some days we had lunch on the side of the slopes and didn't want another full meal; crepes were served from 4pm in the bar for a short time, but I think this was targeted more towards children.

Verified reviewI was unhappy with my stay at the hotel due to several issues. First, the SPA that was mentioned in the hotel description wasn't available, which was a big letdown. Also, the WiFi wasn't working for about two to three days, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Lastly, I had a problem with the dinner service. Despite that I asked about it in 3 month advance in booking chat, I was told on place that the restaurant was fully booked for the week. This was really disappointing because I was looking forward to dining there.
