we received a lovely greeting from Chrisitne and Claude, they then found us a table at a local restaurant and when we returned they joined us for a glass of wine and lovely evening chatting in the conservatory. after a lovely breakfast we left feeling like we had spend the night with old friends, such was the warm hospitality!! the only shame was we had to rush off, I would have happily stayed for a few nights!

This is a beautiful period French house that has been sympathetically renovated. The bedroom was clean and spacious with a modern en suite shower room. Claude and Christine are an Anglo- French couple who made us feel very welcome. We joined them at the village fete, which was great fun! We arrived on e-bikes and there was a big secure garage where we could park them and charge the batteries overnight. There are shops and cafe/restaurant in the village in walking distance of the house. The couple very kindly provided a gluten free breakfast, which we had requested in advance. The homemade yoghurt and jams were delicious!

Everything was great.

Claude and Christine were most welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for a lovely overnight stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, and our room had a nice view over the garden. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed learning more about Chevanceaux, which would be a perfect base for a few days

Beautiful town house on three floors with large orangery where we ate a picnic supper we had brought with us. Our spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean room was at the top of the house. Stylish bathroom with a large shower. Lovely breakfast of homemade jams, croissants and bread was served in the orangery. Our bicycles were securely stored in the hosts' garage.

Loved everything about this stay. A very short turn off main road and easy to find. Greeted with such warmth from Christine and Claude. They explained everything to offer in the area and also the offer to cook in doors which we opted for after a day on the road. Absolutely stunning house and beautiful relaxing garden area. Everything and more that you would want when traveling with family.

We stayed overnight on our way to a wedding to be held locally. Christine and Claude were exceptional hosts, nothing too much trouble and helpful with information on the area and various other things we needed for our stay. The accommodation had all we required to the highest quality, the breakfast was scrumptious with home made preserves and other local pastries.

A wonderful place to stop overnight on my cycle trip along the Scandibérique (EV3). Very friendly and helpful hosts who went out of their way in every respect.
