Nice view, private at the swiming pool and at the terrace, extraordinary breakfast, water and cleaning every morning… Best was the many advices about restaurants and places to visite, which makes our stay even better experience.

Access to property is appalling. Pot hole ridden driveway on a steep slope. Low car be very very careful. Although property is excellent and a good size the photos are taken with a ‘magic’ camera. Also separate living room should actually say separate living area. Most importantly do not use Apple Maps to find the place the location is badly wrong. You must use Google maps.

Nice hosts, lovely accommodation and everything was just about spot on. Very clean and good breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

For my husband and I, the View Aix en Provence, was an incredible experience. Valérie and JP left no stone unturned to give us a memorable stay. From the great conversations to the delicious breakfasts (of our choice) in the morning we felt absolutely spoilt. Even though we arrived earlier than initially planned, our room was all ready for us and even set to a perfect temperature. JP and Valérie greeted us with cold drinks and we sat overlooking an inviting pool and beautiful views discussing a list of recommendations for our stay. Their recommendations both for activities and food were incredible, Valérie even arranged dinner reservations for us. We absolutely can’t wait to come back again. Highlight of our trip! Everything was perfect.

Although the location and the accommodation were excellent, the most extraordinary thing in our trip was Valery and JP hospitality. They were extremely friendly, helping, nice and available to give us information and suggestions on things to visit in Provence. We spent quality time talking to them. The property is absolutely perfect. It’s about a 10 minute drive outside Aix, making is really easy to get back into the hustle of the city. We wanted a quiet few days and this was the perfect spot to allow us lazy days by the pool, while also being close to restaurants for the evenings. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful! We shared a glass of Rosé in the pool on our first evening, where they helped us plan out our itinerary. They even drove us into the city a few times when they were heading that way too. Aside from the hosts being amazing and the stunning setting, the bed was an absolute showstopper! Honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We even took the name of the mattress when we were leaving! Will be back!

We had an amazing experience. Communications were early and on point with helpful tips of how to get there. Valerie welcomed us when we arrived and showed us wonderful property with amazing views of the valley and beautiful garden all around. The room was pristine and beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. She paid attention to little details which made the stay special. The breakfast every morning was outstanding with delicious options. Her recommendations were also spot on and we took advantage of a few locations and spots. The location is good to get around Provence by car. We highly recommend this gem. Loved our stay.

The View is like a stay in a tiny 5 star hotel. Our bedroom was enormous and beautifully decorated and had plenty of 5 star touches - luxurious sheets, towelling robes, evening drinks by the poolside. The room even has a separate dressing area - exceptional! Valerie & JP are so welcoming and warm. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. We’ll come back to Aix so that we can stay here again.

Nothing - it was perfect :)

The property is a gorgeous 'converted' home with four large, impeccably clean guest suites. Honestly, the most comfortable beds I've slept in :). The pool area and the gardens are lovely, not to mention the glorious view! We all enjoyed the fresh breakfast on the terrace every morning, lovingly prepared by Valerie. The standout, however, are the owners and hosts, Valerie and JP. They went over and above in terms of being helpful with literally everything be it recommendations for sights, restaurants, arranging taxis etc and were so, so personable. The little additional touches made the stay so memorable - sharing a bottle of Rosé with them on the terrace upon arrival, little luxuries left in the room like rum and amaretto cookies. They hosted our family and another couple who were visiting from Italy to an evening apero and it was like being at a friends' home! Seafood, platters of charcuterie, good wine and JP's "French Spritzes". If you're after a true luxe immersive homestay style experience, I would highly recommend The View. If not for JP's recommendation we may not have visited Cassis which would have been a crying shame as it has been the standout Village across the entirety of our month in France :)

Stunning location and very tranquil, despite being only a five-minute drive from Aix-en-Provence. Our hosts were extremely helpful with guidance for our hol plans and made us feel truly at home, even organising drinks (apero) for us and the other guests. Room was also nice and spacious, with plenty of natural light and that beautiful view.

Everything was perfect!!

Few words can describe how wonderful our stay at The View was. This is a large family home that has been converted into the most special b and b, where the owners/hosts live and welcome guests with genuine openness, warmth, graciousness and hospitality. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and had every comfort we could wish for. And the bed!! One of the most comfortable and luxurious we've encountered on our travels, which ensured a good night's rest. Upon arrival, we shared Happy Hour on the patio by the pool and were cheerfully greeted each morning as JP brought our gorgeous breakfast trays to us, always with a smile and ideas for our day's activities. The View is located outside of Aix en P but is still accessible to the town's many sights and restaurants. JP and Valerie are simply extraordinary people. We felt like family by the end of our stay as we bade our wistful good-byes. Highly recommend and hope to go back!
