How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only minor downside was an odd buzzing/vibrating sound that we could hear in the room.
Well located, modern room and although the bathroom was small it was really well appointed. Good Wi-Fi and lots of options for charging. Nice to have a kettle in the room. Lots of good bars/cafes and food options nearby. Very close to the metro.

Only that there was work being done at the hotel that started quite early and was noisy.
Great breakfast, water fountain in reception, good location and nice staff. Comfy clean room.

Rooms are nice and clean but a bit small and queen size the double bed is too small. The hotel should have more twin bed rooms instead of small double bed. Homeless people hanging around right infront of hotel.
A good price for the room and very convinient to travel with Metro.

Would be great to have a small fridge in the room.
The room was well compartimented and had a nice view. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed also.

Please note that rooms are rather small, but it is a traditional issue for Paris. Taking into account that Paris is a touristy city, English language proficiency could be improved for a reception desk personell. However, it did not caused troubles due to managers' hospitality and we had some French knowledge. An iron could be changed for a new and better one.
Lovely renovated Hotel nearby various transport options. Breakfast was Ok, especially for Paris. You could refill you water bottle on reception floor, thoughtful for a hot day. So it's nice option for a short family stay with a moderate budget

The shower is “up” you need to down one step carefully.
The staff was amazing! Super friendly and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I super recommended this place! Everything is renovated

Bad idea to leave a table and chairs just in front of the (3) garden 1st floor bedrooms (late-bird guests should be encouraged to stay in the back of the restaurant, one level down). I was awakened by neighbors drinking wine there at midnight... Well they were nice enough to stop their "discussions" as soon as they saw that my bedroom light went on (or they coincidentally just had finished their bottle...!). But the hotel has here an opportunity for improvement...
This time I got a room on ground floor in the backyard. No traffic noise for sure.

The only issue I had was with the elevator taking forever... Sometimes I had to give up and take the stairs, which wasn't a big deal, except for checking out with a very large and heavy bag.
The bed was super comfortable and it was a nice size for one person. The location was great and the staff was very friendly.

The entrance to the bathroom is narrow, because the door does not open completely, being blocked by the radiator.
I was here before. And I'm nicely surprised to see that the hotel is completely renovated. Great job. Hotel is very close to Nation and metro station on line 2 is right in front of the hotel.

There’s only one elevator in the hotel and it was not working during our stays. Hard time for travelers with big luggage.

We'd left the do not disturb sign on the door as we didn't require any cleaning for just a few days, each time the staff removed it and entered. We weren't in so it wasn't an issue for us, but would have been if someone was working from the room for example.
The staff were kind and for the budget, the rooms are well proportioned

Hard to believe that this is a *** hotel. I would rather say it’s a ** hotel. But a tourist visiting Paris doesn’t need more for a 2-day stay in my opinion.
