Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe kitchen was small and fairly basic, though adequate, and elegant like the rest of the flat! We had no complaints, in fact.
This is an unusual, extremely striking, beautiful and fascinating one-bedroom apartment. In order to get to the cosy and quiet double bedroom tucked in at the back, you must walk through the elegant sitting room, dining room, then kitchen and small study. As the name indicates and the photos show, the walls are covered with paintings (mostly contemporary oil paintings) by artists from all over the world. The wit and quirky sense of humour of the owner, who collects art, and his attention to detail, were a delight. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed discussing art with the owner and would recommend this apartment to anyone who would appreciate something beautiful and unusual, but especially to artists, writers and creative types!

AustriaThe place is full of objects of an interesting and eclectic collection: many paintings of different styles ( abstract, figurative, etc), esculpture ( stone, metal, glass, religious, african motives, etc) furniture ( 60's danish style, modern design), lumps ( art deco, modern), local maritime decoration ( fishes, boats), pop art iconos ( Kusama, Chen Wen Ling), etc. Curious, a real treat! Jean Luc was friendly . The appartment is well equipped, clean and in a good location. Bed could be a bit more comfortable.

United KingdomChange your plans and arrange to come here. If you enjoy an eclectic enthusiasm for modern international art, this is amazing, spacious, delightful and your host is charming and kind. In addition, you'll be in the heart of the fabulous harbour area and the shortest of stroll from all the cafes and restaurants.... and you park straight across the road on the quai for free. The art collection - paintings, sculptures, objects and more even have their own Catalogue raisonee.. and you can purchase a paperback copy as well. An astonishingly wonderful place.

United KingdomNo dislikes, just a couple of suggestions, which I mentioned to the host: - For peace of mind for single ladies, staying alone, an additional latch to the bathroom / bedroom door so you can actually lock yourself in from the inside. There is a big lock which you can turn by hand from your side, but which can still be opened with a spare key from the other side. - Maybe, a little television would be welcomed for the lonely traveller with no one to talk to in the evening, especially in winter when it's cold and dark outside and you don't fancy venturing out. An Upstairs resident, above the bedroom was moving around making floorboards creek until 2 am so if you're a light sleeper or easily bothered by such noises, maybe bring earplugs to help you fall asleep.
Wowww, a beautiful quirky apartment /art gallery, facing the harbour and minutes drive from the Ferry Terminal with lots of free parking. There is so much to look at inside: paintings and statues and other decorative items. You have full use of the whole downstairs with big modern lounge, dining room, kitchen, and more. Everything was spotless, and the host was absolutely lovely and helpful and even got up near 4am as I needed to catch the early ferry, to make me breakfast and got out in the freezing cold to carry my bag to the car. Nothing was too much. Absolutely fabulous.and I would stay there again.
