Loud music, screaming and shouting all night until 2am. As we were unable to sleep, I complained. The hotel made a deduction in our room bill, but this really should not happen in a hotel of this standard

United KingdomThe menu was both expensive and limited so we didn't eat the food in the hotel but there were plenty of options a short walk away.
The hotel staff were welcoming and efficient. Our room was very spacious and well appointed with lovely views over parkland and the nearby river. It was quiet and private. We had a huge window we could open to give lots of fresh air. The swimming pool was nice and as I had it to myself it gave me plenty of chance to swim. I think it would have been difficult if there were 3 or 4 others in the pool at the same time though as it's shape was two halves of a semi-circle giving less space. Part of the pool was inside and some outside giving the option of both. The area surrounding the pool was fabulous with both indoor and outdoor areas to relax in. There were plenty of clean towels and beds to laze on also good showers. The hotel is situated on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the city which is wonderful to explore. The cathedral is stunning and nearby there is a fabulous cafe called Babatche serving yummy street food with delicious flavours at very reasonable prices. Secure car parking is just over the road from the hotel at a charge of 30 euros per day.

it was a pleasure for us to stay in Celestine Vy resort Thermal for 19 nights in March 2025 We came from Canada to take the course of thermal water treatment in Vishy. While staying in Vichy, hotel staff did it best to make our time there comfortable and convenient. In particular, while in Canada we sent a kind request to hotel management to make us an appointment with a thermal doctor in order to prescribe the treatment course on check-in day and we had such appointment directly on SPA premises upon our arrival - what saved our efforts and facilitated treatment procedures. More over, we were provided with direct access cards to Thermal water source and measuring glasses The hotel management did us a favour to upgrade the room for a higher class at no extra charge - what was highly appreciated. The room size was more than 30 square meters facing the park with the lake view, what make us comfortable staying there for a long time. While staying this hotel you should keep in mind of available special evening room service, what is not a usual in many other 5 star hotels. Out bedding has been changed on the daily basis. The mattress was really soft - what was also very important for us We need to mention also an excellent breakfast with selection of best cheeses, fish and ham, as well as freshly pressed juices. We have to mention as well a special 3 storey SPA facility (connected with hotel by enclosed passage, what provides the clients with different SPA treatments. We used to go there daily. Any time we addressed our minor concerns to hotel management, we had a quick and easy going response, the issues were settled immediately. Finally the hotel management provided us with courtesy shuttle service to the train station on check out day - what was really touching. Advise everybody staying in Celestine Vy resort Thermal. FranceSome of the doors, furniture, hairdryers, drains of the sinks…need renewing. All is very well kept and clean but is somehow “Viellot” as the French say. Having said that, we have to admit that the price of the room is quite reasonable for a 5 stars hotel.
Location excellent. Very clean installations. ALL the staff is extremely nice. Breakfast and restaurant really good, on the expensive side but just because the quality is very high. Best meat we have eaten in years (beef and pork)

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, which was spacious and comfortable. The entire hotel, including the room, had a really nice, fresh smell. Everything was exceptionally clean and the housekeeping service was available twice a day, which kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. One unexpected highlight was the rooftop pool — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun.
