United KingdomStairs were difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties. However, on enquiry was told that an extra handrail will be installed later this year and that will solve the problem.
Good location within 40 mins of St Malo. Excellent dinner in the restaurant, friendly staff including the owner. Family run hotel. Good parking. Decent breakfast with excellent warm croissants.

A lovely characterful property, comfortable rooms, great food and attentive service. I arrived (early) in the middle of a Sunday lunch service and was immediately seated and prided with drinks and food. The owners locked my bike (and others) away securely for the evening.

JapanThe bed creaked a little when I turned over, which I found a bit distracting.
The staff spoke English and were friendly and helpful. Every dish at dinner was delicious — it was truly a blissful experience. Although the hotel is located by the roadside, the traffic quiets down at night, so noise wasn’t an issue. In the morning, I woke up to the gentle chirping of birds, which made it feel like something out of a fairytale. The building has been renovated, but since it’s originally quite old, sounds tend to carry easily. That said, other guests seemed well-mannered, so it didn’t bother me much. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. If I ever visit the area again, I’d love to stay here once more.

United KingdomNothing major to dislike, and certainly would not put us off of booking at this wonderful place...the only slight niggle, was that we would have preferred a firmer cushion...but this is our own personal preference as we are used to firmer cushions.
The service was excellent, the room nice and large, fantastic shower room. We stayed at the back of the property nice a quiet. We booked for the evening dinner, which is a must...the food was one of the best we have had and highly recommend those booking to try the evening meal. There is a terrace area where you can have a drink, as there is bar service during the stay. Will definitely be booking again. Their dog 'Fergus'...such a lovely and friendly dog.
