Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Had to walk up two flights of stairs, which for me is difficult, otherwise, all good.
Eric was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is ideally placed for the Old Town and has parking available (tight space though) He has a massive collection of bikes and stories to go with them. Thanks Eric 😀

I stayed here for a short 2-night trip and had a very pleasant experience. The property was exactly as expected — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the city center, making it super convenient for exploring. The host was wonderful — kind, helpful, and speaks English, which made communication easy. I would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

Eric the host could not be more helpful. He went out of his way to give information and check in on us to be sure we were having a good time. The apartment is light, comfortable and open and Eric provides the basics for a good breakfast. Coffee is very good.

loved the location, everything was within walking distance. The host was very pleasant and very helpful. Even the sofa bed was very comfortable. I liked the breakfast food included in the stay.

Only that the bed (yes, only double size) has a stylish black frame you have to be aware not to bump into. Also, no real restaurant nearby, but many walking distance.
Location: old town across the street and then a fantastic bakery and the place to get on the very inexpensive mini bus, green line, to get you on a route in old town and you can get off or on anywhere by you like. Plus there is an excellent little grocery store right downstairs. And plus plus, Eric who lives on site, is friendly, helpful and speaks English.

Only minor, the shower head needs decalcification, the water sprays in strange directions.
Host was very friendly and made some good suggestions of things to see. Apartment is very nicely set up and decorated. The location is amazing! If we can ever come back to Aix, we will stay here again.

This is a very nice apartment. Great location on edge of town, and everything you could want to see is walkable. Good sized bedroom. Well appointed bathroom. Nice lounge. Friendly and helpful host. Small kitchen area, but sufficient for short stay.

Keep in mind that the department doesn´t have an elevator
The host of the apartment was amazingly helpful with all the things we need, including a bed for our baby. He also helped us on finding a good location for our car, the apartment was big and comfortable and the kitchen good to prepare our own food The location is great, you can go to the center of Aix by foot

The bed could do with better pillows and large cushions needed in the couch for better back support otherwise very happy
The location and availability of a garage beneath for our car was perfect. Clean and large apartment with everything we required. Lovely host and extras in the fridge much appreciated.
