I round the bedding very hard

Food was very nice ( eventing leal and breakfast) and the propreté is in a very good location to visit Chamonix with easy parking and a nice walking trail into Town

Picnic lunch was pack yourself and very limited Narrow bed wasn't comfortable Nowhere to hang a few clothes I washed. Male staff member who didn't speak English got angry when I asked if there was somewhere hang a few clothes

No towels change/extra towels even though we stayed there for 5 days. Matresses were a bit old and uncomfortable

Staff was very friendly even though only some of them were able to communicate in English. Nice food, dinner was always amazing. Possibility to have "lunch to go", if you were skiing during the day. Very good location :) Overall good value for the price.

The room was dark with extra mattresses in an area in the roof accessed by a ladder which had been left there with dirty bedding! We didn’t need a room with this extra area. I asked for extra bedding for my bed but it never came. The staff didn’t know much about the bus timetable and never advised on anything ie where the ski/boot room was - we were left to find these things out ourselves. We never had an introduction to the property. on arrival we had to find the room ourselves in the dark, which was situated In a separate building.

Loved the value for money and the sauna and jacuzzi. The location was great too with superb bus system. The bathroom was lovely and warm with a hot shower and heated towel rail which came in handy for drying towels and swimwear.

The room was clean, but the shelves in the bathroom need repair / replacement (coating of the chipboard sheets is missing at corners, making it look dated). Don't mind a dated look (vintage charm) but this kind of detail should be sorted out to look decent. Dinner choice after a long day of skiing and jacuzzi was limited as all the favourites sold out quickly and we felt like having a left over. Plenty to eat though, and had at least one dessert option left available. Family-friendly means there are plenty of kids having fun around and some evening activities were producing noise (e.g. karaoke). It may annoy some people but we were OK with it. Curfew was well respected and it was very quiet at night, so had no problem sleeping.

Having booked at last minute, had no idea what VTF stood for (Vacances Tres Families), but pleasantly surprised to find so many activities available for guests every day incl. snow shoe walk, glacier train tour, evening lecture, etc. Staff are friendly, laid-back but all doing their bit as part of team (more like a family?). Sauna/Steam Bath/Jacuzzi in a separate building to relax muscles after a day of ski before a buffet dinner. Breakfast offered plenty of options (e.g. bake your own pancakes, cheese & ham toast, but not fried eggs). Lunch was the best (freshly baked quiche tasted amazing) as we missed all the best bit of the dinner buffet by being a late comer (except the free red & rose wine). Spacious room with plenty of storage and area to put your skis (can leave them downstairs, too). Lift access. Communal sink counter & kettle to make tea on your floor. Amazing view from your room of Mont Blanc and other mountains. Walking distance to one of best ski areas in Chamonix (Flegere) but also bus stop at the end of the road to visit other areas. Lovely walk along the river to central Chamonix (less than half an hour). Had a really pleasant stay and will highly recommend.

Beds could be more comfortable and I didn’t like that you had to book 20 min slots in hot tub. Busses back from ski lift can be a nightmare to get on.

Breakfast was basic, but fine. Dinner was actually really nice and plentiful. Really enjoyed it.

We had a very disappointing stay. When we arrived, several staff members were standing around but no one offered to help. We were told to wait for Victor, who was also managing the bar and clearly deprioritized check-in. The food was shockingly bad—truly the worst I’ve ever had. We came to France expecting decent meals, but most of it was unpalatable. The only edible thing was plain penne, which was constantly gone from the buffet. Glasses were dirty. The room was small and not clean. Dirty laundry was stuffed into the loft, and there was no soap in the shower or by the sink. Pillows were uncomfortable. Reception also failed to inform us that a package had been dropped off for us by someone from our tour. The entire place feels dated and poorly maintained. Again, the food alone was enough to ruin the experience.

Room was in annexe building and was a very basic ski lodge style accommodation. The room had cobwebs all over the walls and ceiling. Bathroom had black mould on the tiles in the shower. I almost decided to leave and find somewhere else. Instead I cleaned the room myself. Furniture was old and scratched. Food was rather basic and very limited options but ok.

Located just north of Chamonix, a short walk along the riverside path or a bus ride.

Wasn’t ideal that two people came into our room at 1am shouting at us that we were in their room, going through our things and looking for their bags. It was a misunderstanding but rather unfortunate. Got some compensation though. Also some pleasant, but as it turned out very right wing Gideon-evangelical guests, invited us on a trip to a glacier, and then spent the entire hike attempting to impose gay conversion therapy on us and suggested we were in league with the devil. That’s weirdly true. But we can hardly blame the hotel for that… Also, the croissants ran out at breakfast really quickly, so get there 7:30 prompt if you don’t want to miss out!

Lunch and evening meal (with wine included) good and plentiful. Pool nice temperature and accessible until 8pm so time for a dip after a day’s hiking.
