Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very nice appartement close to the food store, bakery and restaurant with tasty beef tartar and beer. Place close to the sea, fully equiped. Perfect was closed parking space. Owner very helpful with out late arrival and keys.

The location was quiet yet conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was super comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the lovely terrace. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Very well-located apartment a few minutes from the Carnoles train stop and a minute to the Carnoles beach. Nice and quiet apartment with balcony and good air conditioning. Perfect for our family of 4. We were only staying a night but would make it longer next time! Evan was an excellent host who gave us clear instructions to get into the apartment. Easy access to a nice beach with swimming and snorkelling and a 20 minute walk into Menton to visit the old town. Will be back!

The apartment is close to the sea (a few meters away) and to the Carnoles train station which is a great starting point if you want a day trip by train to Monaco/Nice/Cannes. The appartment offers a free parking spot behind the building so you don't have to worry about finding an empty spot on the busy streets. However, if you want to explore the destination by car - Menton is only a 10min drive away. Our dog was very welcomed which was our main requirement while searching for a suitable appartment. The owner was super nice and the communication was great. We made self check-in so we and the owner were not strictly tighed to our exact arrival time. The view from the balcony was perfect - you could see part of the sea and Menton with the mountains in the background. The appartment is perfect for 1-2 people. It can hold 4 people as well but only if your plan is to spend the majority of time outside since it's on the smaller side - but that is totally up to a personal preference.
