“This is not a swanky 5 star hotel but you probably would not get better service. We arrived late into the evening (gone 10pm) but had a warm welcome and the bar was open. We were escorted to our room when we were ready and had a great sleep. The room was basic but it was clean and had touches that some more expensive places don’t provide (kettle, biscuits & soft towels). To have a cooked breakfast, unlimited tea, coffee, juices and cereal all within the price made it an even better experience. The pub is family run and very welcoming. It is so rare to visit a pub or hotel and think that you would have been willing to pay more but this is one place.”
“The room was a really good size, the bed really comfortable (I am really fussy with beds) Breakfast was everything you could want. Cereals, yogurts, choice of cooked breakfast. It was also a perfect location for carfest, we are gutted its not in the same venue next year as we would definitely stay here again.”
