Very easy to find, a really good location with free on-site parking (no dropped kerb, but we were aware of this before arrival). The apartment itself was really big and looked exactly like pictures. Clean, comfortable and had everything we could have wanted for our stay. We could have stayed longer than one night, maybe next time! Within 10 minutes walking distance to city centre shops, pubs, bars and restaurants and the Quays shopping area. Host was easy to contact and replied quickly and kindly let us leave our car for a couple of hours before and after check-in.

Given that's its an old building and retains its original sash windows the problem is they allow quite a lot of road noise and the building is next to a stretch of road and the noise from which can be intrusive. Although the traffic died down after 23.00 light sleepers may want to consider this.

Ideal location with off street parking very close to all the amenities the city has to offer. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the provisions you could need. The hosts were very easy to deal with and the overall experience was positive. A quirky building with charm that beats staying in a sterile hotel with no character.

Some areas for improvement include; the fridge had opened bottles of pop, the flat felt like it needed a deep clean and the shower, as has been noted in other reviews, has very little pressure. However, we really enjoyed the apartment and our stay.

My wife and i really enjoyed our stay at the river apartment. The apartment is in a beautiful building and has a lovely balcony with a lovely view out over the river and the nature reserve. It is West facing and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The host was flexible with regards to our departure time which was appreciated.

Loved the decor, plenty of space, good location, on site parking (at the far end of the building, past the antique shop), close to the docks which is a nice area to walk around and has lots of places to eat.

Quite a bit of regular maintenance needs to be done and the cleaning was not up to scratch. Guests need to be informed that the parking is at the end of the building over a kerb and not on the left hand side of it as that belongs to customer parking for the antique shop next door and the poor owner gets quite upset that his customer parking is taken.

Shower was a waste of time .a cold weak shower .apartment was not clean .cobwebs in kitchen .dirty toilet .7 sqaures of toilet roll was all that was there .plates cups and cutlery dirty .a decent shower and a deep clean is well needed bed was small tv is tiny .

Bedding had a damp smell possibly from the laundry not drying properly. Came across the stiff pillow from other reviews but there's more comfy pillows in the living room storage.

Brilliant location in Gloucester city centre but in a quiet location. Absolutely loved the balcony overseeing the river. Elaine was friendly and easy to reach. The flat had most amenities we needed for an evening in, it was very cosy on a cold winters night as well.

Not 100% sure the spare duvet cover for the sofa was clean, if it was clean then maybe it should be replaced as it’s stained. Creaky floors can hear the person upstairs walking around

Hard pillows. Shower with poor flow and erratic temperature control. (Note to Booking.com - I found it difficult to pick up messages from owner (on Booking.com app) about access without WiFi availability prior to getting into the property.)

Good position, well equipped, warm and good WiFi reception. The owner was precise about access. Parking provided (in a difficult area to park). Good places to eat nearby.
