Can't say I didn't like anything

Really clean and comfortable modern accommodation in a fisherman's cottage. Very well equipped. We had our car with us and so had no problem getting around Orkney, but there is a good public transport system.

Location was ideal for the ferry two mins away, only took 20 minutes to mainland Orkney. Lovely pub Murray Arms serving lots of fresh fish. The flat was cosy, warm and comfortable, had everything we needed for a 3 night stay.

The dripping tap in the kitchen, the fridge was a tad noisy, and had a slightly broken ice compartment door that kept falling off. But this is really minor.

Everything, absolutely fantastic apartment in every sense,apart from one kitchen appliance.

Not being able to get a meal iat the local restaurants after 8pm.

Perfect location for exploring Orkney and super wee cottage with everything supplied. It was a bit difficult to find -our satnav had difficulties to start off with. Only problem we found was finding an evening meal after 8pm after the ferry arriving at 8pm - I'd recommend taking food to heat up in the cottage for the 1st night if arriving on 8pm ferry.

Property was in an ideal location and was a very clean/ comfortable wee flat weather it’s for a night or a week. 2 mins from the boat to which was ideal. From start to finish couldn’t fault anything about the property or staff. Highly recommend

Could have done with more information, eg how to switch the heated towel rail on. The freezer in the fridge was ineffective because the door fell of and couldn't be refitted, possibly due to too much ice. Lost some food.

The accommodation though small was very cosy, warm and comfortable.

It was reasonably chilly when we stayed & unable to get the living room heater on wall to work although a simlar one in bedroom worked fine. Fortunately there was a fan heater arrangement also so able to warm living room.

We like St Margarets Hope & so it is our preferred location when staying on mainland Orkney. Apartment had everthing we required including being able to cook a bit & get our clothes washed. Comfy bed & a good shower.

Humidity in the islands is high - it might be helpful for future guests to write down a few tips to avoid condensation in the bathroom.

Cozy flat, perfect secluded gateway to Orkney. Communication was easy.

The flat wasn't as clean as I thought it might of been when we srrived,, and the main bedroom felt quite warm at night (even with the window open).

Everything! It was really good value for money and the place had everything we needed. I liked the theme for flat had going on. There was lots of storage space and tea and coffee was provided

Fantastic little property. Well laid out . Matching plates and cups. The kitchen was well equipped. In a great location. Ferry port close by if you needed it. Very quiet with ample parking Two pubs within minutes walk. Two Local shops where you can get everything you need. The washing machine was really useful. Plenty of hot water. Perfect for our three night stay. Would definitely recommend and we would stay there again.
