The single track lane from Coldingham village to the beach can get a bit busy in high season but there are passing places.

Superbly equipped flat in a quiet location overlooking Coldingham Bay. Easy access to A1 road to explore the borders country, River Tweed and the coastline from Edinburgh to Alnick all within an hour's drive. Wide range of supermarkets & restaurants in Berwick-upon-Tweed with top ups locally from Eyemouth Coop or Coldingham Spar. Surfing or hiking for the energetic or rock-pooling, crabbing, fishing or just admiring the views for the more leisurely days.

This property is absolutely incredible — even better than the photos! Everything was spotlessly clean, brand new, and perfectly maintained. The design is elegant and tasteful, and the space is simply stunning. It was so comfortable and pleasant that we truly didn’t want to leave. We were also touched by the thoughtful welcome treats that had been left for us. There were games available, toys for our child, and even something for the dogs — every member of the family was considered! The attention to detail and the care for guests is truly exceptional. The location itself is breathtaking, set in a beautifully scenic area with a lovely beach nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are genuinely grateful to the hosts for creating such a warm and beautiful place. You can really feel how much love and effort has gone into it. We would return in a heartbeat!

2nd time staying at 1 the Bay. It’s a lovely modern flat close to the beach. Everything you need in the kitchen. And Bbq is also a great addition. The Beds were super really comfortable and lovely fluffy towels. It’s very quiet have an amazing peaceful stay. Can’t wait for our next visit

There was nothing about the flat we did not like. The only observation we had was the cooker hood was of a height that we both hit our head when cooking on the the hob. We also thought where would a visitor park their car.

We both loved the flat. The flat had a full kitchen / lounge so we could cook any meal from breakfast to dinner. The lounge area was really nice and had large floor to ceiling window and sliding panel. The two bedrooms were a good size and also had the same large window with sliding door so the views were panoramic. The garden is great for relaxing and looking out over Coldingham Bay. The location of the flat is perfect for visiting border towns including Berwick-upon- Tweed. Having private parking is a great advantage This flat is one of the best holiday accommodation we have have been in.

One insignificant oversight. I asked for bed two as a double but it was singles. Not a big deal.

Such an impressive apartment from the moment you arrive. Everything is impeccable from the enclosed garden to the interior. The best quality everything. Glass walls open every room to the garden and you can see the sea. It makes you comfortable and relaxed. It is also located a couple of minutes away from a special beach. We took the dogs on twice a day because it’s so close. An experience we’ll never forget. Communication from the owners is fantastic; even including a welcome pack. Hopefully we’ll be back.

It had the ‘wow’ factor when we drove up. Modern, comfortable, cozy, beautiful inside and out. You could hear the waves as we opened the door. The apartment has everything you need and the welcome pack, along with the Christmas decorations was a nice treat. We had a very relaxing stay, enjoying walks to St Abs, Coldingham Village, and you are minutes from the beautiful beach. We had beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the apartment. You can see the sea through the hedge. Our weather was excellent for this time of year. We came to relax and eat out at local restaurants and we did both. Our mini dachshunds loved the secure garden area. Such a beautiful place, setting, with tasteful decor throughout.

Fantastic property, enjoyed a short Christmas break, owners had put up Christmas decorations and a beautiful tree this all added to a creating a great Christmas feel, everything catered for, the owners make sure you have a fabulous stay.
