The house was immaculate but, as a tall person, I found very little space between the shower head and my own. Otherwise no negative comments. I haven't encountered the owner nor had any direct communication but had no reason to bother them.

I enjoyed the tranquility of the house, the location is spectacular, situated to enjoy the history out of the windows. I don't have a car so can't comment on how parking would be.

No complaints- one small thing is the kettle didn’t always work, only mentioning this so can be changed. Everything was excellent

Providing a comprehensive welcome package is greatly needed. The lack of information regarding the WiFi password (I had to contact Katrina), how to work the washer, etc spoiled our arrival. Also, although not necessary, a nice welcome basket with perhaps bread, eggs, cake and milk is always appreciated. I had to go and buy a hairdryer as I couldn’t see one and then found one stuffed in a drawer on our last day. For me, the glass floor feature freaked me out and I think a rug to go over it would be a good idea for an easy fix. I also think it is an accident waiting to happen to leave the hatch unlocked giving access to the dangerous steps, just my opinion I also had to purchase a hand whisk and kitchen scissors

For us the WiFi was rubbish and we would have preferred to have good internet but for someone who wants to be off the grid it’s perfect

To be really fussy, and only a teeny little niggle, a reading light near the sofa would have been good

Wonderful location. Can both see and hear the river from a bedroom. Very handy for the town. Very cosy living room/kitchen with all one's needs provided.

There is nothing to dislike.. the only (minor) downside is packing and unpacking the car and finding a place to park up. Don't let this put you off as the area is lovely and your car is safe

A pyrex jug that’s all that was missing the trays for the oven need replacing apart from that every thing was spot on

Not that we didn't like them but the main bedroom bed could be a little bigger and the pillows could do with been thicker. (No spare pillows either). Tv doesn't have many apps and not available to download things such as 4od etc. Just like to mention the door lock isn't great it's difficult to unlock from the inside, bit of a fire safety risk.

The location is great. Parking was easy along the road. Everything we needed was available.

Entrance door lock faulty, got trapped inside and had to use knife to get it open, worst thing was this had been reported 3 times last summer and it still hadn't been replaced, this is a FIRE safety issue of great concern to us. No outside space at all so no barbeque area as advertised. Couldn't see the river when sitting in lounge, front bedroom suffers from road noise, double yellow lines outside front door (busy road), you are 8 steps below street level, problem getting BBC 1 & 2 on tele, settee too low for us.

Apartment was clean & tidy and nice, beds were comfortable, well equipped, view out of back bedroom was lovely
