Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lack of towels in bathroom. Poor WiFi, but understandable in location in general. Bedroom door had a very loud bang each time it was closing, but probably fixed now, and wouldn't make me not stay again. Overall lovely stay.
Location, host kept in contact. Very clean. Quiet, excellent kitchen area.

A fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in beautiful Portstewart.. It was great for a four night stay to explore this part of the magnificent coast of Northern Ireland. The unit had everything you would need. Easy walk into centre of town. Karen, our host was excellent with communication and assistance and advice. Highly recommended.

Nothing really to fault. Could do with a large supermarket nearby. But if you're driving a nip 10 mins into Coleraine will sort that.
Clean and fully equipped self catering apartment only a short walk from the seafront and town centre. Good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Clean and modern designed lounge and kitchen

Guests would benefit from a stronger wi-wi signal inside the property.
The keys were collected from the lock box upon arrival and the details of its location were sent to me prior to arrival the night before.

The apartment provided everything we needed for our trip to the North Coast. The location was perfect with plenty of car parking space. The apartment was warm and comfortable with a lovely large sitting room/kitchen, well proportioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for more. The only thing missing for me was a grab rail in the main bathroom to make it safer to get in and out of the over bath shower.

The property was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The property provided lots of little extras from forgotten condiments and welcoming touches like tea and coffee to entertainment for the family from WiFi and smart TV to family board games to keep everyone happy. Very close walking distance to shops and restaurants with beautiful sea views right on the doorstep - I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Very clean and spacious and perfect location for a weekend away in the north coast bathroom and shower room, 2 double beds and a camp bed which was more than enough for a family of 4. Had everything we needed and more and only a 5 min walk from the coffee shop!

There was nothing we didn't like !!
This was a lovely apartment in good condition and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. Karen was so helpful with all the necessary details prior to going, then we met her as we were leaving and she was very friendly and efficient. It was in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from Portstewart promenade.
