Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The kitchen knives were not very sharp.
Really great apartment close to beautiful locations. Extremely comfortable & clean. Would highly recommend.

When originally booking there was hesitancy renting an overseas apartment (being from the US) but we were pleasantly surprised upon entering the apartment compound and the apartment itself. With a full kitchen/dining/living room along with a full bathroom and two bedrooms it was perfect for our needs – far superior to a hotel room. It even had a full size refrigerator, dishwasher and clothes wash/dryer combo. Also included were dedicated parking spaces for our rental car. If traveling by car I highly recommend this apartment. It is a 15-minute downtown walk and a five-minute walk to a local bulk grocery store, but we primarily used it as a hub to travel throughout Northern Wales and parts of England. It was the best home base to use for our 5-night stay.

No ventilation bathroom never get dry, only one window in kitchen/living room, not able to have door open to outside for air circulation, door opens into enclosed hall, Difficult to dry clothes
Good kitchen equipment, washing machine, clothes drying rack, vacuum cleaner. Excellent instructions on locating and negotiating entrance gate and lockbox for keys.. Very secure accommodation in gated community, 2 bedrooms. Good secure car parking. nice area of city.

Not a lot, a little impersonal with no replies to messages, to be fair the instructions given were clear and adequate
Warm and cosy, we used the property as a refuge whilst sorting out a new home to make it habitable in the local area. Perfect location, quiet and felt secure in a gated complex.

There was nothing I could complain about or say that about the property. Even the fact it’s an old barracks. The properties are well maintained.

Juat a missing hdmi lead from the dvd player to the TV but it was easy enough to switch it from the freeview box, other than that perfect!
Fully equipped flat, spotlessly clean, comfortable and a quiet location.

Apartment is very tastefully decorated and equipped really well. We had a really comfortable stay and felt relaxed, as if in our own home. Location is good for Wrexham and surrounding area.

I was disappointed that there wasn’t a pint of milk in the fridge - there was tea / coffee left from previous guests but a pint of milk would have been appreciated. The grill pan had not been cleaned from previous guests which was quite unpleasant - also when glasses were removed to be used the surface underneath them was quite sticky so they had to be washed before use. The bathroom is tired - paintwork around the skirting boards was scuffed and marked which was a bit disconcerting.
The property was very central to where we needed to go. The parking spaces were a bonus too. Property was as described and the photos were accurate.

The apartment was comfortable, HOWEVER my booking was for an apartment with 2 DOUBLE BEDS, on arrival there was only 1 double bed & 1 single bed. my son is a large man, and the single bed was very uncomfortable. Who had the authority to change my booking???????? We were very disappointed and this will reflect on us using Bookings. com in the future.
