Nothing to dislike.As my husband and I are in our late 70’s the availability of a rubber mat would have been welcome to put in the bath when taking a shower.

It was bijou but had everything we needed for our short stay and there were treats waiting for us on arrival. Owner was communicative and helpful. Great location for visiting Beamish Museum

Proximity to Beamish Museum, the superb view, surprisingly quiet neighbours, clean pans to cook with which is not a ‘given’ in many places I’ve stayed in. And also the yummy extras which , again , not every host provides , along with quality toiletries. Many thanks to Ingrid and David

There was only one corner shop and two restaurants in the sarounding area.

The views are incredible, and it's the perfect location for tourists visiting beamish museum, only 5 mins drive. Plus the hosts were very friendly and helpfull.

Spotlessly clean , good communication. Milk, wine tea and coffee which was great after a long journey. Close to Beamish and great views over the golf course.

Beautiful and spacious apartment in a lovely, quiet residential area. The place was immaculately clean and the hosts were great! The living room had amazing views over a golf course where we enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels - very peaceful!

Excellent location for visiting Beamish museum, the flat was very clean and comfortable and nice view over the golf course. The hosts Ingrid and David were excellent with their communication regarding our stay there and very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here

Nothing to dislike

The views really were fabulous. We saw deer on several occasions as well as lots of rabbits and squirrels. Well equipped, also wine, milk, ice creams and Kit Kats thrown in. Attentive host, rang to check everything ok. Restaurants, pub and shops all within easy walking distance, and very close to Beamish.

Tiny point we are quite tall and a King size bed would have been nice but that’s not a major issue at all. Everything else made up for it. We knew from the details that this was a double bed and glad it didn’t put us off booking.

The property was sparkling clean, with a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable and furnishings good quality

The flat was in an excellent location for all the places we wanted to visit and was perfect for our needs. A nice welcome pack was provided. Information folder was very helpful. Communication with the owners was very good. Ingrid called on the day of our arrival to check everything was ok and to inform us they would be away over the weekend but to still contact them if we had a problem.

just my personal opinion, ( being short) I would have liked an adjustable shower, rather than fixed in one place.

I liked everything...the beds were comfy, sofas were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, was very clean and well kept, location was great for beamish museum, the view was amazing

Not a dislike, but a seat of some sort in the living room window would be amazing to look at the view/sunrise/sunset.

Lush little flat. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely hosts. Amazing view. Private parking. Wine and chocolate on arrival. Witnessed several different wildlife. Clear instructions were provided for everything. We would definitely stay here again!

5 minutes from Beamish museum. Lovely flat. The hosts thought of everything. Wine, milk in the fridge. Chocs with coffee. Comfortable beds. Lots of toiletries provided too. Stunning views over the golf course. Kept in touch with us. A lovely couple. Highly recommended 👌

Not exactly a "didn't like" but I found the bathroom difficult to use.

The apartment was great! Comfy, clean and the little extras made all the difference! Thank you so much for a great stay, will definitely book again next time we're planning a visit!

The bathroom was quite small and tight to move around in but that didn't spoil our stay. Also steep steps down to the communal entrance just for those who may struggle.

Beautiful 2 bed apartment with gorgeous views of a golf course and the countryside from the living room. immaculate throughout and the beds were really comfortable. Everything available within the apartment for a great stay. (cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar, even sauces, oil, salt pepper available in the cupboard) The hosts kept us well informed and kindly left us a bottle of wine, milk, juice (for my grandson) and sweets, biscuits which I thought was a lovely touch. It has it own marked parking bay which is a bonus and the keys were available in a coded locker at the communal entrance. It's located Minutes away from Beamish Museum and near to some lovely bars and reasturants. overall my husband, grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would definitely reccomend it and will definitely return.

Location is excellent for visiting Beamish Museum (5 mins drive). Fantastic welcome pack, apartment was spotless, great hosts checking everything was ok for us. Lovely view from the living room overlooking a golf course, lots of wildlife, even saw a couple of deer when the golfers had finished on the course.
