Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Germanythe minus the shower situation in the large bath tub bath room. There is no shower, i.e. you have a bath tub and thats it. Means everyone will shower in the smaller ensuite bathroom - creates a bit of a queue with more people. Could so easily be fixed by adding a different tap option to the bathtub that will allow for a shower arm. the towels are very thin. Haven't seen those type of flimsy towels in a long time. The bed sheets are all polyester far from comfy sleeping. For it being 'luxury flat' I would expect different sheets and towels. overall the entire flat has a decorative IKEA furnishing, it is well assorted but again nothing luxurious
the plus Very spacious apartment with ample storage possibilities. Great lounge to eat comfortably at the dining table with 4 people. Train stations just opposite, a large Sainsbury and a pizza/fish and chips place as well. Parking included Welcome food basket very generous and appreciated to have some essentials ready for breakfast in case you arrive late late. Kitchen well equipped to prepare meals - and we are fussy people, so well done. Washing machine and dish washer (incl some dish washer tabs) The fresh flowers really nice touch! thanks. great and easy communication for the meet and great key hand over.

United KingdomThere was nothing we didn’t like.
Apartment was in an ideal location. Very comfortable and homely. 5 minutes from the Train Station which was ideal as we were arriving on the Train. The host also provided us with a Welcome Pack which was much appreciated.

United KingdomFlat was a tiny bit short of small conveniences (e.g. hooks on the back of bathroom doors and bins in the second bathroom). Glad I took a night mask as the blinds were not of the blackout variety and didn't keep the morning light out much (and were missing a wall plug or two so had to be careful with). Also double bed was very firm and low.
Very smart, quiet (amazing sound proofing seems to be a common thing in Scottish flats), modern and roomy flat in a fab location to get into Glasgow (20 minutes), across to Edinburgh (1 hour) or up to the Highlands. Handy local supermarket and takeaway (the pasta from the chip and pizza shop was very good) five minutes walk away. Very friendly and helpful host who kindly left us a gift pack of some essentials e.g. milk, bread and of course chocolate :-D).

United KingdomOur only concern was that the second bathroom didn’t have any shower, so me and my colleague ended up sharing a shower in the master bedroom. Wouldn’t really count it as a problem if you’re traveling with friends or family though.
The place is modern and clean, has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Host was friendly and very helpful, made sure to accommodate us and answer all our queries. The place is very close to the train station too, so allowed for an easy access to Glasgow.

United KingdomI had no dislikes on this visit
We were to ring host when we were 15 minute away and they would meet us at the property to give us the keys and information regarding the property. The property was better than expected, there was a very nice welcome pack. The location was close to the train station and has a Sainsbury’s, very close by. We were there for four nights, very very enjoyable. Would highly recommend

Hong KongWe, three adults and one child, spent three nights here. The two-bedroom flat (one double with an en suite bathroom and one twin) was perfect for us. It was clean, well-kept, and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and all necessary kitchenware. We appreciated the host's warm welcome with a bunch of tulips and a basket of chocolates, crisps, bread, short bread, as well as milk, orange juice, and butter provided. The location is quiet yet convenient, being right next to a train stop. It's also convenient for driving, just a 25-minute drive to Tesco Extra and Silverburn Shopping Centre. Everything exceeded our expectations. Great value of money. Highly recommended.

United KingdomThere is nothing I didn't like about the area or the property.
The property was lovely, very modern but very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The property was very well equipped, I usually take a few bits and bobs to make a self-catering stay easier but I didn't need any of it. Everything was there, clean with clear, simple instructions were available for everything if needed. The welcome basket was the best I've seen (I have self-catering stays at least twice a year) wine, chocolate, crisps, milk, orange juice, butter, a loaf of delicious bread. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits. I expect I've missed something - it got us started beautifully and meant we could relax straight away. Ian was an exceptional host, he messaged me soon after my initial booking which gave me confidence that all was in order. And we messaged again to confirm my arrival time and he provided google map details that worked to help with the last bit. He met us at the property to ensure we knew where everything was and gave some recommendations for local takeaways (which were correct, thank you!) The location is lovely, quiet village feel but situated closely to amenities and the train station, it is very quick and cheap to get into Glasgow with a regular frequent timetable too. The area is leafy and green but not isolated and definitely safe, the two neighbours we saw were also friendly. We could have done with more time to explore locally. Everything about our stay was comfortable 😌 I would definitely stay again. Particularly for a stay local to Glasgow but not in the bustle of the city, with superb access to the Clyde water, and the west coast and a short drive for day trips to Loch Lomond and The Hill House at Helensburgh if you like Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
