Excellent accommodation and a super host

It would have helpful to have a mat in the shower as it was slippery.

The location was quite quiet and tucked away behind the hosts accommodation in a small space. Parking across the road was simple. One needs to phone the host on arrival as it is tricky to find down a little passage between two buildings. Breakfast was set up in the room in a tiny fridge and was all I wanted. Every kind of tea and coffee was available and biscuits. Peaceful and relaxing.

Garden studio was perfect . Susan was a kind , friendly host and topped up our supplies . Her garden was perfect to relax in and enjoy breakfast and a cup of tea . Garden studio was in a fantastic location and we would thoroughly recommend a stay there . Thank you Susan . Glenda and Garry

The only drawback is that you cannot park close to the property which wasn’t an issue for us (and there is free parking 250mts away) but could be for anyone with mobility challenges or luggage that can’t be wheeled

It’s a lovely private space, well appointed and clean. Susan is a very welcoming host and the village of Goudhurst is delightful with a pub within walking distance that serves great meals.

Its great as a comfy bedroom and ensuite ! But not to spend a day of course!

Lovely host and fab place to stay. Comfy bed Cafeteria and coffee provided alongside other choices of teas to have whilst having breakfast sitting outside on the terrace. Little fridge a bonus Great location All we needed..

very nice and quiet spot. Pretty village. No problem parking was able to park on main road by the Goudhurst pub. good selection of teas&coffee Easy shower to use Handy for the local shop if you needed anything which was open till 7.00. Local pub served good food (star &eagle) Bed very comfortable . Small courtyard area for sitting outside.

Arriving in darkness is a challenge. Goudhurst has no street lighting, and the alley from the street to the accommodation is patchily lit. The free public car park is close by, but the two-minute walk back to the studio is in darkness. Be ready with a torch if you arrive after dark.

The Garden Studio is an appealing rustic annex in a private area next to the host's house. It is comfortable and very well appointed, and Susan makes you feel very welcome. Goudhurst is a charming, characterful village well worth a wander around.

Parking was a short walk away from the property i.e. no drive or allocated parking space immediately at the property.

Lovely host. Very welcoming and friendly. Central yet quiet location. Pretty courtyard garden. Lots of high quality teas and ground coffee for the cafetière.

Very compact, so a bit difficult to move around without banging in to things/each other.

Well equipped including a small fridge, and helpful to have lots of hooks and a small hanging rail, as there is limited storage space for clothes/luggage. Good continental breakfast and helpful/considerate owner

No car parking but there is a free car park within an easy walking distance from the accommodation.

Excellent accommodation which was of a high quality ie furnishings, bed linen, towels & crockery . Continental breakfast with Tea and Coffee was supplied. Susan, the proprietor, was very friendly and a great host. Loved the location of the Garden Studio tucked away down a cute passage way. We would recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely stay at the Garden Studio. Perfectly positioned for our National Trust Road Trip (7 properties in 3 days). The owner was lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

It was SO gorgeous. Susan the host was very kind and thoughtful and had even stocked some little bits in the fridge for me that I was so appreciative of after a long travel and a quick morning get away.

Had difficulty finding the studio's quite hidden location. Instructions were not received through booking.com. Parking (public) also was quite some way from studio in a car park down a bit of a hill in the village.

Very compact, thoughtfully set-up, attractive garden studio with small garden setting outside. Very private. Quiet, away from the fairly busy road outside. Owner was very welcoming and friendly. Small breakfast supplied. Actually located in pretty, historic village of Goudhurst.

Wish we had more time to stay and explore

We had wonderful stay at Garden studio. The accommodation has everything that you need and more. Host was very thoughtful and caring, made us feel at home, and look after us whilst we were there. Goudhurst is a beautiful village full of charm, with walks all around. Will visit and stay again .

Just the breakfast

Lovely garden accommodation. Tea & coffee nice selection. Breakfast was sadly not that great. Two small chocolate croissants and one small croissants plus a Ramakin blueberries not enough for two people. Maybe re look at your offering. Apart from that great stay

The accommodation is rather small but as I only had myself to please it was not a problem

Susan provided a selection of cold goodies for my breakfast which I enjoyed. I'm sure she would do her best if you had special requests for food.
