There was nothing to not like about this gorgeous place.

Took my fiance for his birthday. Beautiful place, located in amazing views with exceptional hosts who go above and beyond. Everything you could possibly need was provided including fresh bread, cake, tea, coffee, jams, spreads, butter, milk and fresh orange juice. Lovely shower, beautiful walks and scenery!

Should've booked for more nights!

Every little detail taken care of by the owners. Milk, bread, butter, juice, eggs, fresh coffee (and cafetiere) jams, cakes, cereals, pasta, sauce and more all there on arrival. The homemade houmous was a bonus!! Super clean and comfortable. Stay for more than one night as its so close to Snowdon (and other mountains) and Betws-y-coed is 10 mins away.

That we didn’t book a longer stay!

The hut is gorgeous and cosy, with everything you need for a short stay. The view and the surrounding scenery are stunning and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, couldn’t ask for more!

Hellie gave us such a warm welcome upon arrival, every small detail you could think of was met to make us feel at home. There was even a birthday cake and a balloon, for my partners birthday which we were celebrating the weekend we went. Could not recommend more! absolutely amazing views and such a nice hut to stay in. Will definitely come back

Not much the only thing we found difficult was finding the location in the dark and the road, as expected due to the location was a narrow country lane , we would advise to get there before dark if driving to the location, other than that everything was perfect x

Beautiful location and had all the amenities you would need for a short stay , the hut was clean , warm , comfortable and cosy ,the hosts were welcoming and amazing , we stayed for our anniversary and we were greeted with a cake, balloon and card , along with homemade bread , it was just perfect thank you so much for your kind gesture , we will be back xx

Nothing we didn’t like - would say you can only stay at this property if you have a car.

Myself and my partner stayed in the Shepherds Hut and had the most lovely stay. Safe to say our hosts Hillie and John go the extra mile for their guests, with fresh baked cupcakes and bread. Super welcoming and helpful. The hut has everything you need for a cosy stay. Would happily recommend and revisit 😌

The cakes and bread were delicious. The location was perfect, easy to find and close to local resteraunts etc. The hut itself was cosy, quiet and perfect for a couple, and the views in the morning were stunning!

We didn't like the fact we couldn't stay longer on this visit to enjoy relaxing and resting surrounded by nature.

We like the very high standard of presentation. Visiting the Shepherd's Hut was a luxurious experience because of the care the hosts have used when creating this special place. We loved the location with stunning views of the mountains.

Having to leave 😢

I cannot recommend this place enough! Stunning location and Hellie went above and beyond. We had cupcakes on arrival and freshly baked bread the place was beautiful and the extra touches were the icing on the cake. As its opposite an army base we also got to see a Mack loop which my husband loved. The hut is comfortable and well stocked with the essentials you may need and then some. The main town area is only a few minutes drive away and it’s conveniently located to other must see places.

The hut is in a quiet and stunning location. It is so well equipped for a comfy and relaxing stay with everything you could want and more, the fluffy robes and board games were a particular favourite. Amazing homemade bread for breakfast was an unexpected treat, host very welcoming. All around great stay, would recommend to anyone!

A wonderful location, very peaceful, and Hellie the host had made homemade bread,cakes, jam and fresh milk and fresh orange and ceriel There was shampoo,conditioner &shower gel so we was very comfortable. I loved sitting on the bench outside looking at the mountains! I loved the comfy bed and waking up to a peaceful setting! Hellie & her husband gave us a gorgeous photo of the mountain wrapped in tissue! What a beautiful present ! A reminder of our wonderful stay ❤️🙏

Nothing. Everything was great.

Everything. The location was good, it was quiet and peaceful, close enough to interesting places to explore. Although small, it was very comfortable, and we loved all the extra little touches - the fridge stocked with milk, juice, several jams, and nut butter, the freshly baked bread and other little treats. The owners are also lovely and friendly. We also loved the big fluffy towels and very comfortable bed. And not least the amazing view of Snowdon.
