Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCan't fault the place at all
I booked Bluebell last minute for 2 nights, and what a treat it was 😊 I wanted somewhere where me & my dog could relax, and this place totally exceeded expectations. Gorgeous location, with access straight on to bridleway. Bob has created an amazing space for you to relax in nature with your 4 legged friends. Loved everything about it. So clean, & had everything i needed. Very spacious. Garden was a great size. Hot tub was a real treat! The fresh eggs & flowers were a lovely. I'll definitely be booking again in the future, and have already reccomend this place to family & friends. Bob was a lovely host and all her hard work has paid off in creating such a lovely space, thank you 😊

United KingdomFantastic stay in Bluebell cabin with our dog. It's exceptional glamping. The hot tub is lovely and a chance to chill out overlooking the beautiful scenery. The cabin is comfortable and tastefully decorated. Super clean with thoughtful touches, including kitchen and shower supplies, books and towels. The hosts are very welcoming and even gave us eggs and milk. They were very easy to contact. accommodating whilst also giving us space. Perfect hosting. Our dog is very anxious around strangers but the hosts were really understanding so this really is properly dog friendly.. The garden around the cabin is enclosed but huge so the dog had a fantastic time running around.and exploring. Can't recommend highly enough.

Beautifully laid out and an amazing place to stay. Perfect for a quiet time away to completely relax. The hot tub was a great feature and we opted to stay on site for the whole time and use the kitchen to cook rather than leave the site. Bob was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed.

United KingdomNothing really, bed might a small but you can’t really get much in a small cabin 😀
We had a fabulous time at bluebell cabin, very relaxing and perfect place to unwind but close to facilities and towns should you want to venture out. The outside space was great for our two dogs even felt that our escape artist Lurcher was very safe in the enclosed garden. Bob was a great host and has a great ethos. Loved the fresh eggs and the donkeys were a hit with the dogs! Would definitely come back again

United KingdomThere was nothing really we did't like, more of a personal preference. Found the bed to be a little small and uncomfortable, it may be I am not used to sleeping so close to the hubby! 😂 Also there were no spare cupboard space to put your groceries, Other than this, our stay just was not long enough as we did not want to leave this little gem of a place.
What an amazing find Bluebell Cabin is. The location was perfect, quiet, and in a beautiful setting over-looking fields. Pedro and Coco the donkeys were just divine. I was a little apprehensive that the fencing around the cabin was not dog proof, as we have a little rescue who is an escape artist and can get out of most things. Bob reassured us that she hasn't had a dog escape yet, guess what she was right. Not only was it dog proof, the garden area with the cabin was really big, so lots of room for both dogs to run around. We paid extra for the hot tub, really glad we did. It was perfect to jump into and relax after all our great walks out. We made use of the BBQ whilst there, there was both a charcoal and a gas one available. Bob even supplied the charcoal FOC which was fantastic. Also made use of the fire-pit, wood also supplied too. It was wonderful to be able to sit outside for longer watching the sun go down. Bob is the most perfect host, very approachable, nothing is too much trouble, and always available if needed.

United KingdomReally sweet idea great for dogs having the enclosed area they can explore all around without having to worry. So peaceful and lovely walk to the pub from your doorstep. Would definitely come back again. Just gets a little chilly between the 2 units when sitting out there could do with a heated light. If your.looking for a peaceful relaxing place then this is it. Bob is really friendly and we were welcomed with eggs from her chickens, they were tasty.

United KingdomNothing, we absolutely loved the place.
Bluebell was an absolute dream, beautiful place to stay in a stunning location, it worked so well for us and our dog, we will definitely be back. Bob was very helpful, responsive and available if needed and really did make us feel welcome. Would we change anything, I don’t think so, if you want quirky, beautiful, in a stunning peaceful location with loads of secure space for the dog (who was made very welcome) you can’t go wrong.
