    * there was only one comfortable place to sit in the living room: the armchair. Both couches were not comfortable to us. There also didn't seem to be any ambient lighting, just big bright lights. We just lounged on the very comfortable bed. * showering was kind of a cold affair, standing in the bathtub (the water was warm, but you're standing out in the open, the part of you that's not under the water gets cold quickly)

    * the host was very friendly, willing to help and quick in her replies. * large Tesco 5 minute walk * main busstation 11 minute walk * we were here for the fringe and it's about 1,5 hours from WeePad to Old Town (walk 11m, bus 60m, walk 20m). The Dunfermline busstation is the starting point which is convenient since there was pretty much guaranteed space. There were people turned away down the line to Edingburgh. * very large and super comfortable bed * kitchen well supplied with everything you need, even a washing machine

I had a great experience at the Wee Pad! Thank you, Aimee, for the warm welcome. When I arrived, Aimee had gluten free snacks and herbal tea set aside for me...wow! I also got to sleep in the best bed in the UK. I don't remember the brand, but it was amazing!! Tesco was a five minute walk, and the train station was about a 15 min walk. I took the train directly to Waverly Station in Edinburgh, which took about 25 minutes. I will definitely book this accommodation again.

Absolutely nothing. This is genuinely the best self-catering holiday accommodation that I have ever stayed in (I am a 41yr old lady that loves travelling both solo and with my son so that is high praise indeed!) x

Host was incredibly accommodating re check-in & check-out time and greeted us like we were old friends! Location of flat is fantastic for exploring beautiful fife & Edinburgh (only 20 mins from Edinburgh by train) Exceptionally clean & well equipped - having a washing machine was a godsend when travelling with a child High quality furnishings and finishing, including the most comfortable & super-big bed Great sized bathroom, my son loved the bath and I loved the over bath shower Wine & treats on arrival….an hour after arriving I was lying in the bath with a glass of red wine…bliss!!!

The sofa is on the old side, and a bit uncomfortable as a result. I agree with previous reviewers that more cutlery and crockery would be good, to save using the dishwasher so often.

Great communication and welcome from Aimee, and lots of nice unexpected extras. The flat was clean, quiet, warm, and well-equipped., and in a good location, near shops, cafes etc, and with plenty of street parking.
