Bed was smaller than we're used to. Sitting room was just enough but could have been more comfortable and cosy. Smelled clean but a bit overpowering in terms of cleaning products. Parking was a slight inconvenience but location more than made up for it.

Spotlessly clean, everything was almost brand new. Beautiful conversation of a charming old building. Perfect location for what we needed. Useful and thoughtful items included - a few basic ingredients, tea, coffee, milk. Very thoughtful host. Interesting views front and back. Responsive host.

The only thing I can think of would be a lock on the bathroom door as I was visiting with my son but this would put me off booking again.

The view of tge abbey from the large lounge window was mesmerising. The apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated to give a fresh clean look.

The cobwebs around the place, the smaller bed but still comfy and the light coming through the window, just needs a black out blind, apart from that, the apartment is perfect!

We loved the location, the comfort of the apartment, the layout, the little touches, the view of The Abbey through the window is wonderful, there are pubs and shops a couple of feet away. It has everything!

The location was so central - directly opposite Battle Abbey, with an amazing view from the picture window, and right in the heart of the town, so it was ideal. It was a perfect, cosy little apartment for a festive trip to Battle for the Christmas late night shopping and the Abbey illuminations. The whole apartment is beautifully appointed, and we would definitely stay here if we visited again. The Christmas tree and chocolate yule log in the apartment were extra little festive touches which we appreciated.

Sadly the attractive bed although very comfortable was a small double so too narrow.

So clean and exceptionally thoughtfully equipped. Very central to everything car parking close by. Lovely view and breakfast watching the students renter the school very entertaining

No bannister on the stair way made going downstairs in the middle of the night quite tricky.

A newly refurbished apartment above an estate agents shop. Everything in the apartment was o good quality. It was very clean and little things mean a lot such as hand wash and shower gel in the bathroom and washing up liquid and basic provisions provided in the kitchen. A cake and milk was there on arrival which makes all the difference and was very much appreciated.

There could have been maybe a plug in night light for middle of the night trip to the loo and possibly something to hold on to coming downstairs in the dark but other than that all was well

The central location, access to Battle and surrounding areas. The property was exceptional, clean and full of character. A nice welcome cake and some milk was also leafy, these little touches make it feel that little more special. I would highly recommend this property.

There was a lack of instructions for some appliances and some minor quibbles that should not detract from the overall high quality of the accommodation e.g. where to recycle

Marvellous view of Abbey Gatehouse from the property. Kitchen well equipped, powerful shower in bathroom, comfortable lounge. Very clean. Modern decor and tastefully furnished.

We stayed there during the annual Hastings reenactment event and had a perfect view on the main entrance of the abbey and very short ways to the battlefield. We were welcomed with a nice and delicious carrot cake in the kitchen and even some fresh milk in the fridge. The apartment was the cleanest one we ever had and the interior is super sweet and cosy. We felt super comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment for everybody who visits the area and we will definitely return next year!

The parking was a bit inconvenient but there’s not much that can change about that due to the layout of the town. For the next day parking you can only pay after 7pm. That isn’t the property though
