Food not up to usual standard Orange juice watered down. Presume it because refugees are staying in this hotel, We have been going to this hotel every November for 6 years and never had this before.

Location is absolutely brilliant. Everything one might need is nearby - cafés, restaurants, bus stops, train station, and markets. Staff is helpful, kind, and efficient. Breakfast is delicious, and there's a lot to choose from - hot drinks, juices, fruits, scottish traditional breakfast items, and some more.

Pillows could be better, they are really thin.

The breakfast was fantastic- a full breakfast buffet. I love the location in Glasgow City Centre- convenient to everything.

I was thoroughly impressed with everything.

half way house / hostel - asked for s*x by the other guests on a number of occasions. Other guest knocking on our doors after midnight asking to come in for sx. When we told staff they apologized and said they have had similar complaints from others.

majority staff was rude..my room had a cold draught all night.had to put another duvet on my bed..sleep with clothes on..sub standard breakfast the table lamp was not fit for purpose..it didnot work..so had to use main light...main issue is this hotel has been repurposed to house homeless and immigrants..although i understand ..i donot find it acceptable when you are a paying guest to be staying in what seems more like hostel opposed to hotel..there was a security guard employed there too..if i had been informed prior to staying there..i would of chosen another hotel

The only positive from this booking was the location. Right beside Glasgow Central Station and the center of the city.

Where do I begin? Upon entering it was clear that refugees/homeless men were staying at the hotel. The receptionist seemed miserable. There was a security guard at reception, which honesly was a relief. The whole establishment smelled of thick, stale smoke. There is clearly smoking going on all over the hotel, regularly. One corridor had the distinct smell off weed lingering. One of the two elevators were out of service. Upon finding our room, we noticed dirty smears on the wall in our corridor. We passed a refugee/homeless man on the stairs who made me feel extremely uncomfortable by the way he was looking at me. I booked a Double Room, but when we got to our room, it had FOUR beds in it. Two singles, a Queen and a Double. There was a smell of mould/dampness in the room, especially the bathroom. It also smelt of cigarette smoke. The light in the bathroom timed out after 5 seconds of entering, meaning waving my hand about while on the loo so I wasn't in the dark. (No windows) The sink was cracked. The divan bases had mould growing in them. As did a picture on the wall above one of the beds. I have never seem mould grow INSIDE a picture frame! The kettle was still half full with stale water. The windows were filthy. There was no WiFi password in the room. ***I DID NOT FEEL SAFE STAYING AT THIS HOTEL!!!*** If I wasn't with my Fiance, I wouldn't have relaxed enough to sleep. My anxiety was through the roof. Luckily their was a manual lock on the door as well as the key card for the room. The pillows were awful. We came to Glasgow for one night to see a band at the OVO Hydro 25 minute walk away. It put a real dampener on our stay as this was our first night away child free since June. I was dreading going back to the hotel after the concert and we set an alarm to wake up really early so we could leave as soon as we could. There were noisy doors slamming throughout the night.

As always this hotel never disapoints. . Room has very comfy bed and great tea and coffee facilities. Shower is excellent. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the breakfast is amazing.

It's getting harder to be able to secure a room for this hotel as it seems to be very popular these days which is no fault of the hotel but just annoying when trying to book for a concert stay.

The location is very near to Glasgow Central and a 7 min walk to Queen Street on arrival we went to pay and what they asked for was wrong but was rectified when I questioned this the breakfast was very poor bacon rock hard and eggs were solid we felt a bit intimated as there were a lot of unsavoury characters staying

We have stayed here before and everything was good there was no where to have a drink and the breakfast needs sorting

The location was good for the gig that we were going to at the O2 Academy

The rooms had recently been done up but the removal of normal bathroom doors to saloon style doors that don't close properly/lock was odd. The room was absolutely roasting - the heating was on full blast and the window was open. Couldn't turn the heating down and had to leave the window open all night and that still barely made a difference to the heat - had the worst sleep because it was so warm and that's in November! The room was clean at first glance but the shelves had rubbish and crumbs...was glad we were only staying one night. Had stayed there previously but things seem to have changed quite a lot since then, don't think we would stay again.
