Wow, what a fab little bolt hole for Le Shuttle, absolutely perfect in every way. Nic was the perfect host, and no doubt we will stay with him again in the near future. Couldn't fault it, a little bit of luxury for a night. The pub recommended for dinner was excellent. Thank you so much. We loved the experience.

We were warmly welcomed by Nic, who immediately made us feel at home. He gave us tips about the town and where we could go out for dinner. The room was spotless, smelled nice, and was built to a very high standard. We stayed for one night before taking the train back home, but had we known the stay would be this good, we would gladly have stayed another night. For anyone still wondering where to stay in Hythe or the surrounding area: stop searching!

The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed for an overnight stay before we got on the train to France. Nic was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nothing could have been better!

We arrived exhausted but left refreshed. From Nic's greeting and showing us around, the garden for Molly to play in together with a kennel full of toys for her to choose from, being able to sit in the evening cool outside and enjoy the quiet, an excellent night's sleep in a super comfy bed with no murmur of noise from anywhere.... just amazing! There was a coffee machine, kettle, cutlery and crockery for our evening snack... Nic seems to have thought of absolutely everything. We were so sorry that we had only one night here and will be coming back when we use the Shuttle. The welcoming glass of wine was a lovely touch.

Hythe is a beautiful village near the sea, which is at walking distance. Nic is a very pleasant and helpful host. The room has a separate entrance, its own terrace, is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent. Allen Ridge is perfectly situated if you just arrived or have to depart via the Tunnel.

Nick was a brilliant host. He was very helpful from the moment we arrived, and went out of his way to help throughout our stay. The property was spotless and he has provided everything you need. Lovely bed and towels, and a great private outside space. I totally recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future.

The location was perfect, up a private road so nice and quiet, but within 10 mins walk into town. The room had everything you needed, and was very clean and well thought out. The bed was super comfy and there were little extras like mini chocolates and bottled water, along with a selection of coffee pods. Nic was such a lovely man, really friendly and helpful with great communication. Will definitely consider staying there again if I head back that way. Many thanks 💚

Crisp fresh really clean modern room with all facilities, lovely shower, exceptional hosts, located in a quiet location and extremely relaxing, so close to the tunnel yet worlds apart, we loved it so much we have booked it again for next year for 2 planned tunnel crossings
