There was a kettle in the room but no other tea or coffee making facilities. This also missed other H&S elements you would expect from a business and appears to be a house making money off 2 spare rooms. I have no issue with this, but I would like to have seen some basic H&S Elements, such as fire evac plans on the back of the door, emergency lighting on the stairs well and key spin locks on the bedroom doors. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would recommend it as a budget option.

This is perfect for people who need a room and are not to worries about other amenities. Share bathroom always seemed clean and bedding was constable.

For the price I feel it was excellent but you do need to park on the street rather than the driveway. I found a place not far away though. The dogs bark when you first arrive but don’t let this put you off as they were quiet for the rest of the time and they are kept separate from the guest areas.

My single room was very clean and comfortable. It wasn’t a problem to share the bathroom at all and the shower was good. But the best thing about this property was the price. It was such great value and I was very grateful to find somewhere so reasonable.

The cleanliness of the shared bathroom of course depends on the other guests staying at the same time as you. Unfortunately I was not so lucky in this regard. A small fridge in the room would have been great, but then again I also forgot to ask about it.

Really lovely room with a wonderful view. Newton Abbot is great for walking, running and hiking. There are excellent restaurants in town. The hosts are fantastic, always providing anything you need.

Simon was a wonderful host. He went out of his way to make my stay easy, and he added to my experience on a number of occasions. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Jonathan.

Warning: not suitable for single female guests Booking.com has told me that the only action I can take is to leave a negative review in the hope of warning future travellers. The male hosts shout and slam the doors at each other, shout at their dogs and argue downstairs. A very intimidating environment. I was afraid to leave my room. I made an agreement to reduce my stay, yet, as the host failed to respond to multiple attempts at contact, Booking.com are powerless to initiate the refund and have suggested a negative review as the only action available. Intimidated then robbed. That appears to be how this property operates. Serious concerns at property. Booking.com investigating. Meanwhile book with caution.

There was no mirror in the room. I had to put kettle on the floor next to plug socket , nothing major.

Simon and Jonathan are so friendly. They made me feel so welcome and safe , as a single woman, that is very important. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was very clean, and you wouldn't have thought that they had gorgeous dogs that love a fuss over their gate . Slept really well as the mattress is the best quality ever. I need to ask where they got it from. I will be going back to this little gem in December for 6 nights

Jonathan and Simon are the nicest host out there. They sort you out with anything. Moreover, the view is impeccable from the room. Would surely recommend it blindly.

4 large noisy dogs, one of which kept jumping over the restraining gate and was a bit didconcerting.

Everything needed for a short stay was provided and at a very reasonable rate, so am reluctant to find fault with anthing. And if I did it would be for quite minor things e.g. some hooks for my towel or coats

Facilities were exactly as described and as in the pictures. The room was described as budget accommodation, so wasnt expecting anything overly fancy. It was functional and at a very good price. The bed was comfy and shower/bathroom clean and in very good condition. Would be happy to go back there again if I need accommodation in that area.
