Altskeith Country house is absolutely beautiful! The rooms are very comfortable, our meals were delicious, and the views are stunning. I would highly recommend it for a stay on Loch Arb.

The room we selected looked a lot bigger in the pictures. There was not a lot of room for 2 suitcases in addition to the king size bed but overall, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and met our needs.

The location of the Altskieth Country House cannot be beat. The house is on the shores of Loch Ard and the scenery is breathtaking. The staff was so nice and the food was simply delicious.

Alison & Yaz, the owners were terrific, they are so friendly & nice. They give you all the info you need and are so welcoming you feel right at home.The food was absolutely wonderful, Yaz makes everything to order so it is super fresh & tasty. Maybe the furniture in our room was a bit dark and heavy…but that’s really nit picking

Location, meals and staff were all excellent. The evening meal in particular matched the attractive location….. Really tasty and well presented. We are mature cyclists. The location is close to National Route 7. Overnight bike storage was good. A memorable place to stop.

Location, rooms and breakfast. The views were breathtaking! This property hosts weddings and therefore the landscaping was immaculately maintained. It was a little far away from groceries / food but it was worth the inconvenience to stay at this property. The host/owner was very friendly and provided lots of useful information. Will definitely stay here again if we get a chance.

Great location, fantastic staff, we arrived late after a long drive from Skye and staff very attentive and helpful, making sure they held our booking for dinner. Upgraded our room free of charge and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast too.

The only thing people need to know is that there is no lift/elevator. No really a negative for us, we stayed many places in Scotland without an elevator. Just need to be aware of that!
