Suggestion— better towels. Everything else was very upscale, but towels weren’t same quality as other bedding.

Very comfortable, airy, clean room within an easy walk to Grassmarket cafes & everything on the Royal Mile. Finally good pillows! Cathy & mother were very friendly & helpful.

Cathy was a huge help with helping us find places, like a laundromat, calling ahead to enquire about services. She helped us find buses to take us where we were going. She recommended cafes in the area, offered to call a taxi for us. She’s an excellent host! Oh, she also found a store where we could find new trekking poles. Thank you, Cathy! The only feedback to offer was in relation to the windows. Its a very light and airy room, however the blinds in the room were not blackout which means when the sun came up we were woken by it.

A really central location. The owners were incredibly helpful and attentive, showed us a number of places close by for breakfast, and provided a map of the city to demonstrate how to access local attractions - its a 20 minute stroll to Edinburgh Castle. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very quiet.

There was really no problems with the room. If I had to dig deep to find an issue, I’d say the mattresses could use updating.

Great location. Close enough for a long walk, or quick Uber. But far enough away to it be bothered by late night crowds.

The guest house was in a great location. Quiet & a 10/15 minute walk to the top of the royal mile (Edinburgh Castle) & close to cafe's & restaurants. There are two bus routes that go to the city centre very close to the accommodation if walking doesn't suit. The house itself was styled lovely (to my taste) was bright & comfortable and the room was spacious with an adequately sized en-suite (great shower) The owners themselves were very friendly & accommodating. Will definitaly look to book again when in Edinburgh if available.

A great location, close to the city center and the old town. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance. The room was clean and well-kept. The host was very helpful and attentive—we truly appreciate that.

As stated on the website, there are a lot of stairs to the bedrooms . Bedroom and bathroom small but comfortable . Location a long walk to the city centre but bus stop very close and easy .

The place was spotless clean!! I stayed in the single room, and it had everything I needed. They also had some fruits awaiting in the room on arrival, which was so nice. The location is a very quiet residential area, which was so good to sleep at night, but it's close enough to all the tourist locations and you can reach in walking distance. Cathy also had some tips on what to visit and gave me a map on arrival. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again!
