The decor is very dated and somewhat diy. The room was basic and it was only in the morning when I had an uncomfortable nights sleep, that I saw that the double bed was actually 2 single beds/mattresses pushed together. The bathroom again looked dated and the shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold. The concertina doors were badly fitted and the paint had been removed from the threshold where the door dragged badly and made a horrible “fingernails on chalkboard” sound when opening or closing - a major problem when you need the toilet in the night and your partner is sleeping. Won’t be returning there……in reality the room is more like a bnb and not worth the money that is charged for the rooms.

Would have been nice to see more staff. Only saw one member of staff during stay. Had to contact staff by phone. Bathroom very small with no storage. Limited storage in bedroom. Decor was very dated.

The bathroom was tiny, sound from other rooms could be heard too easily. We were offered rooms that did not meet our requirements, although we did get what we asked for eventually.

It was local to our relatives we were visiting. The room was clean, and out the back, do no traffic noise.

1 st night no hot water. .felt intimidated by other residents in room next door. Loud .3 asian men in room next to us. Shut kitchen door didnt feel ok to use kitchen az they were in there. Unhappy dog not allowed in garden . This needs mentioning when advertised . I always pick uo after dog .

Room was tiny, as was shower room. People thinking of booking should know that it is not a hotel. There are no staff on site. Access is by phone to reception and a code. No breakfast available.

Very comfortable bed in pleasant nicely furnished room. Garden and lovely flowering trees (magnolia, camellia). Plenty of parking. Very interesting historical village, with good pubs.

It advertised 24 hour reception It doesn't have one its a Pohne On a rival make the call get room number then wait While someone who lives there gets dressed so you can pay to park. So no one to get a receipt from next morning Its minor inconvenience but if you advertise 24 hour Reception I want a human Not a phone

Great for somewhere to stay for the night. Nothing special but exactly what we needed and reasonable price. Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable. TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, toilet and shower in the room. If you want something fancy you may be disappointed but I was pleased with the room and we slept well. The communal spaces felt less comfortable due to the presence of cameras everywhere. The room itself was quite small, and once the sofa bed was opened, there wasn’t enough space to fully open luggage or move around easily.

The staff were helpful and tried to resolve the issue with the blocked toilet, using bleach to assist, although a drain plunger might have been a more effective solution. They also kindly provided access to an alternative toilet, though it was located on another floor via the shared hallway.

The sink tap in room 6 pivoted on its base it’s meant to be solid. The bathroom door top guide was broken and the bi folding g door flapped about so privacy was difficult, not bathroom internal door knob so difficult without help to shut the door properly. The room could do with an update.

Good location decent parking. Kitchen facilities were good when you bring your own food. Pubs in walking distance of not.

Status of the building and lack of communication with management. There is only one person around. I had to make phone call each time to make a request.

Hotel requires a serious refurbishment. I could clearly hear the conversation at other side of the wall. Rooms are not really clean rather looks dirty. It is an old place.
