Place was very clean and staff fab but there was a really bad smell in pod when we arrived was a strong smell of bleach from cleaning but when wore off there was a smell like wet dog/ bin smell can’t put finger on it but was really bad had to go buy air fresheners to mask it and daughter had to sleep in living room with it we had booked for 3 nights but left after 2 nights apart from this we did have a lovely time

Was nice and clean staff very helpful. Arrived and was bit of confusion we had booked for 4 but only had for 2 but sorted straight away. Had a enjoyable stay would go back again with different pod

All minor issues that could be very easily fixed that would make a huge difference to the quality of our stay. No welcome pack/information in the accommodation. Not enough crockery or utensils for everyone to have a meal or coffee together, not enough cutlery, no items to clean the floor with (brush, dustpan etc), no drinking glasses, disposable plastic tumblers only. Nobody came to check the hot tub the 3 days we were there. Decking very slippy and needs cleaned and treated; my 6 year old slipped coming in from the hot tub and split his chin open resulting in a trip to the hospital. Wires hanging down from television and extension swinging. Broken blind in living area. Very basic ‘lodge’ and would not describe a luxury.

No table and chairs on decking, therefore, nowhere to sit and park was beside a very noisy road. Bed uncomfortable.

When we got there after being told there would be 2 single beds as the sofa bed was broken there was only one single bed and my son had to sleep on the couch. Hoseasons couldn't help us out with another pod and the owner said there wasn't anything else on site although when I took a walk around it did look as though other pods were empty

fridge was a bit smelly. pictures in advert didn't match the property (small TV, no carpet, cheap couch). spings could be felt in mattress. no towels, and only notified very late. no tea or coffee

Only downside is towels are not provided. We had tried to phone the number given and wasn’t answered even when ring a couple of times. But overall the stay was great !!

No towels provided which Booking.com website doesn't mention but their own site does. We therefore didn't have any but the staff member helped us out. Our cabin was tired but clean. Sadly damp weather has encouraged mould in bathroom and bedroom.

Lodge furniture is quite basic like in the photos and a few scuffs on the walls that can easily be painted over and wear and tear on the furniture, it’s self catering so you need to bring most essentials with you eg bring your own towels as they do not provide them, and the lodge does not have internet so you need to rely on your mobile data, but other than that it was a lovely stay

Staff were friendly, the site is in the middle of fields which is quiet and nice for relaxation and it’s only 5 minutes away from the main town Kilwinning, a taxi to Kilwinning cost us £9. lodge was cozy very warm as the weather was horribly cold and wet, beds were comfortable, hot tub was brilliant. Kilwinning and Irvine locals are so lovely we had a local taxi man drive us the few days we stayed it is a very nice area

Was strange that there was only 2 forks and 3 knives, we got more from Morrisons and a mini colander, we just left them at the property. Also could do with some decking furniture.

Very peaceful setting and hot tub was excellent. It was clean, comfortable and value for money.

Wery poorly comunications from owner. We have a question and it took a while to contact and get an answer. The accommodation number was entered incorrectly.

Quiet and beautiful place. Upon arrival we found a poorly cleaned jacuzzi. The staff responded and the problem was quickly resolved.

The property wasn’t as clean as I would of hoped. There was pet hair in the bedding and the cooking materials provided I had to clean all before use. There was also no where to hang up wet swimming things in the property or even no hooks outside and I only got told 20 minutes before check in that towels weren’t provided which luckily we were just leaving so could pack them. There was no items to clean the floor with as my kids did cause some crumbs etc from eating but there was no brush or anything to clean this up which was a bit poor.

The property was easy to find and in a nice quiet location. The lodge was quite spacious.

When we came home cot an infection from the jaquzzi I thought I could smell rotten eggs didn’t know we’re it was coming from took lid Of and kept it of the smell didn’t return but when we got home had to go for antibiotics it was like a urin kinda like infection and when read up on it went to docs cot it of the jaquzzi they need to be cleaned more than they were instead of a dirty cloth round sides

It was lovely quite great to go if uve no kids and if uve not got a car would advice to bring your food for all week or a taxi will take u to twn for £10

Unfortunately it wasn’t cleaned at all. Cobwebs in the bathroom and the floor hadnt been hoovered or cleaned: There was dirty marks everywhere ie on the couch window cills etc. spiders on the ceiling.

Location was good very quiet and the hot tub was great and clean.
