Excellent top floor flat on the main Ayr rd. Very comfortable and warm. Two large bedrooms, 1 en-suite also large toilet down stairs with bath and shower. Large kitchen and living room with table and chairs at the bay window where you can see over to Troon. Local shops, restaurants, bars and beach close by and 2 min walk from Sainsburys.

The parking facilities need updating on Booking.com site as we parked in the road before realising we had parking for two cars.

The only minor point was the position of the micro in a cupboard above oven, reaching up to remove hot food could pose a risk. Would be hard to reach for smaller guests. Theres Plenty of space on worktop, to possibly relocate it.

Great location, fresh and clean apartment, linens were spotless, a standard we wish all rentals would provide. Traffic noise from road wasn't too bad, back bedroom was quiet to sleep in, and front bedroom would be fine,i think, if windows were closed. All rooms were generously proportioned, heating easy to put on and off, both showers were good. House info book was informative and helpful. Check in was easy peasy.

The front bedroom is noisy from the street. Just people walking past later, and average traffic in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, use the garden facing room. It’s well kept for an old property but could do with a spring clean in those tricky areas like the shower and skirtings.

This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. So spacious, pretty much everything you need. I find the place really comfortable and would go back for a third time.

There is nothing to dislike at Arran View. it is very spacious and the extra large beds are exceptionally comfortable. The front bedroom has an on suite toilet and there is also a large toilet with bath and shower down a flight of 5 stairs off the hallway and I have to say the shower is amazing!! The living-room has lovely bright decor and a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the views over to Troon etc. For golfers, there is 2 golf courses in Prestwick and one in Troon which isn’t far away, a ten min journey. Prestwick is also very close to Ayr etc. Arran View is an up stairs flat.

Arran View is self catering in an excellent location, 3 min walk to Sainsburys, 20 min walk to the centre of Prestwick town centre and about a 20 min walk to the excellent clean beach front which also has a fun play area for children. There is also a covered in play area at the end of the beach that’s sells hot food etc and a separate small cafe and toilets on the beach front where you can also to sit and enjoy a coffee or an ice cream and the lovely views over the water and you also see the occasional plane from Prestwick Airport, which is about a ten min car journey away…Myself and my husband have stayed at Arran view for many years now and we wouldn’t go to anywhere else and we are going back again for the Ayr Air Show at the beginning of September..The hostess Carrie is exceptional and goes out of her way to accommodate you at all times. Excellent service always!!

Beautiful apartment, so clean & tidy. Very homely & very well furnished, with lots of nice accessories to make you feel right at home. Great big bay windows which let the light stream in. Enjoyed sitting at the table with the sun coming in while enjoying our drinks & evening meal. Very large comfy bed. Everything was perfect. We have booked again as we loved it so much. Thank you.
