Parking is a bit tricky.

Its sea facing, lot of shops nearby, nice seaside walks, nearby Coop supermarket, lot of nearby beaches for families. It's a great getaway for a very relaxing vacation.

Parking is always a challenge in Anstruther but plenty spaces away from the seafront. The circular stairs to the flat could be difficult for guests with mobility problems.

Great central location, well equipped with fabulous views. Flat was exactly as described with good communication before and after our stay. Highly recommended! We look forward to returning soon!

Dirty tray left in oven. Fridge not cleaned out. Place looking a bit tired, particularly bathroom. Heating didn't seem to work until last day when we where about to check out ! Above has been mentioned to the owner who we met.

My only negative for the property was the mattress for the bed, it provided zero support and the only reason this is a 9/10 rather than 10/10.

The location was exceptional but the view was even better. The inside of the property was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. We travelled with our dog and he was well catered for with bowls, a ball, some treats and poo bags being left for him. The owners communicated well on the build up and made it very easy.

Door of the second bedroom wouldn't shut and hallway carpet stained.

well, the curtains in bedrooms if could be change to a classic curtain well be nice. the toilets sink need to change to modern one which combain the cold and hot water, and kitchens facility need to be cleaned and take care of it.

From first impression we felt like we are home the flat is cosy and warm. every thing is nice and clean and bedrooms are big. the view is very nice.

Large comfortable space with fabulous views out over the harbour. Lovely extras on arrival, tea, coffee, milk sachets, fresh bread, and even doggie essentials.

Great location & really well equipped. There was tea, coffee & long life milk plus a fresh loaf of bread. Everything we needed was there. Comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe & hangers. Plus dog bowls, poo bags & dog treats. Would definitely book again

Apartment was spotless! In the centre of Anstruther with great views of the harbour. Everything you could possibly want, and little extras like bread, coffee biscuits and jams.

We were informed about the building work, but it did not impact our stay.

At Anchor (with a Harbour View) is a lovely, comfortable place to stay, bright, welcoming, and with amazing views over the harbour. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing break, and the little touches around the flat make it feel cared for. The location is quiet but still close to everything, and just watching the boats come and go is a real treat. A great spot to slow down and recharge.

Loved this older building flat. Very central and local facilities immediately on hand. Convenient and well Placed. Well equipped and furnished. Cosy clean and suited our family needs. Wouldn’t recommend for small children or those with mobility needs die to access.

While the bathroom is perfectly functional, it would benefit from a refurbishment.

Its location is excellent, it’s spacious and it’s well equipped. Views from the sitting room and front bedroom are excellent. Beds are comfortable and the shower is good. There was a problem with the heating on arrival which was sorted within 10 minutes of contacting the owner. The property app is useful and also contains relevant information local to Anstruther. Plenty of food and drink options within walking distance of the property.

Whilst a car park across the road it was busy when we first arrived and then we had to get all our luggage from the car and up the stairs! I could imagine in the more popular months parking could be an issue? Not many restaurants open on a Monday/Tuesday night in early October...but we ended up with an amazing local fish platter!

It is a minor quibble, the bathroom is a little tired but that said, still very functional.

The apartment was well presented, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. The view is second to none.

bathroom door did not close. it needs shaving off the bottom a little, then it'll be fine. lights on the mirror not working. perhaps a washing up bowl for the sink would help. needed to very careful washing up glasses in a stainless steel sink.

couldn't have been a better location, central overlooking the harbour! i think most household items were there that we needed for our 4 night stay.
