The cleaning was not good, very dusty and the air was stuffy. Neither the bedroom nor bathroom had been properly dusted for a long time. We also got upgraded to the "honeymoon suite", which included a jacuzzi, and I would have expected this to be especially clean, but it wasn't. The place is quite old so it does need some renovation.

This place definitely is that old type of lodge you'd expect to stay in a historical place like Blair Atholl. It's cosy hotell, good pub food, nice staff and absolutely excellent breakfast!

Fantastic old Scottish building with lots of charm. Great onsite pub serving hearty Scottish meals. A superb location for visiting the area. Parking on site always a bonus. The staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive, especially the Manager who sorted an issue for us very professionally. Our room we had at the front of the hotel was spacious and comfy. Loved the authenticity of the hotel bar and hall areas.

Bathroom very small, a larger person would struggle to be comfortable. Maybe applies only to the room we had.

Lovely hotel in beautiful Blair Atholl. Just a 1 night stay on the way north, booked as was on our route. Very pleased with it. Ate dinner in the beer garden which was lovely, and had a delicious breakfast in the great hall. Staff were all lovely and helpful.

As a recall the menu choice for dinner was much better last year. This year it seemed to be more 'chippy'. Also the draught beer choice was almost non-existant.

I like the ambiance of this hotel and the attitude of the staff is excellent. In certain aspects the hotel is looking a little dated with some remedial updating and decoration in order.

I liked nearly everything. The only thing i didn’t like was walking upstairs with my luggage, but it is an old building so can’t expect elevators. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the historic aspect of it. There are not enough outlets, so maybe they could do something about that. We, however, four of us, were very happy overall.

The hotel is beautiful. Staff were very welcoming and thoughtful. The dining room is spectacular and breakfast well cooked with high quality ingredients. Beautiful area with lots of places to walk. Friendly and relaxed. We will definitely go back. The room we had was very inexpensive so we didn't expect too much, but the room although small was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable.

Some people might not like the creaky floors, but it's an old building and that's part of the experience. Maybe breakfast could run till a bit later, 8-9.30 is quite early when you're on holiday.

Loved the old world atmosphere- she's a grand old lady who might not be as glamorous as she used to be, but still has charm and style.

Atholl Arms is a genuinely nice place to stay. You get a friendly welcome and everything is clean and comfortable The bar and waiting staff are exceptional, very attentive and friendly whilst being efficient at the same time and the food served is wonderful. There are great cooks in that kitchen. The breakfast was superb Our wee dog was made welcome. Yes, this hotel could do with a bit of updating but it all adds to the charm and in this day and age, the busyness of the Atholl Arms Hotel tells me a whole lot of other folk think the same

Hard to get hot water that morning

Our rooms were at the top. Comfortable rooms with lovely views but a lot of stairs. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room, and very good dinner in The Bothy Bar. The Water Mill was the most superb visit. Only five minutes walk from the hotel: it’s worth choosing The Atholl Arms for an overnight stay just for this!

No WiFi in my room. Breakfast could perhaps be over a longer timeframe....09:30 is a bit early to stop serving.... people may well want a bit of a lie in on holiday.

Staff were very accommodating.... both to myself, asking for a drink at the bar at about 1 minute to closing time, and to the folks who came into breakfast a good 10 minutes late.
