The property is just off the main road in Coatbridge, about 20min drive from central Glasgow. It is very quiet and our room had a private door at the back of the house so we could go in and out as we pleased. Our room overlooked a large field with horses. The room was very cozy and clean. Although the room was not very big it had a spacious en-suite shower and we could also make use of the common living room of the house. Our host was very nice and offers a very good breakfast, both continental and the cooked Scottish breakfast. Parking is available too at the back of the property. Our host also helped us to book a table at a restaurant for dinner. Pity that we stayed only for one night as the place is really nice and comfortable.

Though we had driven in the UK in years past, it was my first time driving there and my husband was unable to navigate. I had trouble counting roundabout exits and had not considered a cemetery, supermarket, or cul-de-sac official exits and miscounted for the first two days. Also, large lorries frequently blocked my view and prevented accurate exit counting. Once in the area of the B&B we were penalized 8 miles each time there was a miscount. On our first arrival it took 1.5 hrs to reach the B&B when we were only a handful of miles away. Frustrating, but my error.

Helen, the B&B host was wonderful. We had a difficult drive after our flight and were unable to park near the restaurant our host suggested. On returning to the B&B Helen jumped into her car and drove us to another restaurant. Her husband came to get us afterwards. Outstanding service and friendly welcome. The next day was busy with a train ride into Glasgow then dinner with friends in S Queensferry. We returned around midnight and found a text from Helen hoping we had no problems either driving nor finding our friends. The breakfast was fine. We didn't want a full cooked meal.

Lovely clean and comfortable. Stayed in the twin room which had everything needed, the shower was compact but amazing after a day riding motorbike. The owner was lovely and the breakfast set us up for the full day. Only 5 minutes walk to the local hungry horse where staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this little gem

I didn't find the bed so comfy but beds are very personal. There was no de-caf tea or coffee in the room. I usually bring my own but had forgotten. It was available at breakfast though.

The only thing was that the blinds weren’t blackout, so the sun came through early morning. But that aside everything else was fantastic.

Its location was quiet, but not I. The middle of nowhere. Horses (and foals) in the field behind.

not much around regards evening meal

We got a very good welcome and help regards the local area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. we had the best shower on our week trip. we had a lovely view out of the back garden and beyond.

The property was set in a beautiful location with stunning scenery. The room had a balcony, which made it even more enjoyable. The facilities were excellent, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Overall, it was very good value for money.

Helen is a kind & welcoming host, added bonus of microwave and fresh milk the rooms, good selection for tea tray. The rooms were elegantly and tastefully decorated. Beds really comfy good sized rooms. Huge tasty breakfast with plenty of choice, this B & B is a hidden gem,5 stars indeed, this has been my second stay her and I plan to return
