Everything was wonderful. The only little issue was that we were looking forward to being served afternoon tea upon arrival (as promised in the information sent by Johnny and Jo) and were only offered a cup of tea. Not a scone or cake in sight. A little disappointing.

The cheery and friendly hosts. Abby was great too! And the pooches.

The house is in a quiet and serene area. The host family were very friendly, courteous and caring. We had a great time. Highly recommended.

The mattress was a bit worn and saggy.

The accommodation was in a beautiful and peaceful location. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Nice room with a bathroom located in the hallway. Excellent breakfast.

Johnny and Jo were exceptional hosts - warm, thoughtful, and truly welcoming. Their beautifully maintained home and stunning gardens offered the perfect retreat after long hikes through the breathtaking landscapes and picturesque Cotswold villages. The location was ideal for exploring the region's highlights. The breakfasts were outstanding. An unforgettable stay in every sense.

The only thing I can say is it is odd that you are expected to be off the property from 10-4 and it’s not noted anywhere when you book and there are no locks on the bedroom doors but it really is not a big deal, just be aware.

Johnny and Jo were wonderful hosts. The house and gardens were amazing. It was central to where we wanted to go in the Cotswolds.

We weren't entirely at ease with having no locks on the bedroom door. Also booking.com mentioned a hot tub which I forgot to ask about.

Peaceful surroundings and gorgeous gardens. 2 adorable dogs who made a fuss of us. Wonderful breakfasts excellently cooked by Sarah. The location is excellent for visiting all the best Cotswold villages. Advisable to go early as some get very crowded and parking can be difficult.

Wished I had a long mirror in the room and onsuite bathroom. Everything else was perfect!

Johnny (host) and Jo (hostess) were excellent. We felt very much at home and suggestions on where to visit around Cotsworld were great. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the homely atmosphere very much and were treated to the best ice cream in Cotsworld, made by Jo herself!

Beautiful manor house in very rural location close to famous Cotswold villages like Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-in-the-Wold. It is part of a working farm in beautiful countryside.

It’s hard to fault. We didn’t find anything noteworthy to mention.

We loved our stay at Aylworth. Jo and Jonny were knowledgable, friendly and attentive hosts. We especially rated the delicious cooked breakfast enjoyed in the elegant Manor House dining room each morning.

It wasn't immediately obvious from the Booking.com site that we would have to be out of the house between 10:30 and 4. On this occasion, that wasn't an issue for us, but it would have been a factor on other trips we've taken.

Secluded and quiet, but within easy reach to the tourist towns. Johnny and Jo were excellent hosts, and fun to get to know. Beautiful house, well maintained. Excellent breakfasts.

Meticulously maintained household and property. The hosts, John and Jo, were a very down to earth and welcoming couple who didn’t hesitate to assist in any way possible. The epitome of the perfect hosts that suited their household to a tee. The full English breakfast spread accompanied with granola and fresh berries as well as homemade croissants were delectable.

The connectivity to places is good, but the property is a bit isolated and far feom.any other places. However, that is what we wanted! Also, there are stairs, and for some, taking bags up may be difficult.

Both Dr John and Jo Ireland are exemplary hosts that go out of their way to accommodate guests and make them feel comfortable. We spend very memorable times in and around Naunton. Johnny was very helpful with suggestions of things to do amd see. The rooms have large picture windows with rolling green hill vistas. This is horse country and we loved the country themes. Thank you for a stay that is memorable, valued and important.

very picturesque Manor-house, the owners live there too and are very friendly, nice afternoon tea with scones upon arrival. Room really beautiful, wonderful garden. Excellent breakfast. For Dinner 5 minutes drive to Black Horse Inn.
