The room would have been even better if there were additional mirrors or a full length mirror. The only mirror was in the bathroom above the sink. The only other improvement would have been to have a small refrigerator to keep drinks and water cool.

The room was large with high ceiling and bay windows, it felt bright and spacious. The bathroom and walk in shower was lovely and clean. The food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent and the staff were all very nice and friendly. Great location close to rail and bus options, handy for anyone not wanting to stay in the city.

The only issue we had was a slight lack of maintenance in the bathroom, ie the toilet seat was unsecured on one side and obviously not too stable to use. We use showers all the time and in this instance the shower was installed within the bath. The base of the bath in this instance was set too high above the bathroom floor level for my wife and I had to provide assistance to help her get into the shower. The swing shower splash screen did not have an adequate seal between the edge of the bah and the glazing and therefore leaked moisture slightly onto the bathroom floor. This could potentially cause a slip hazard and accident when using the shower, if stepping onto a wet floor in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Will use hotel again soon hopefully. Colin Aitken

Near the train station and the bus stop, A hotel inside a restaurant was an interesting approach.

There were no AC and portable fan in the room. It was hot when we got there. I asked the staff to get us a portable fan. It turned out the staff brought us a huge fan which was usually used by business. The fan was so heavy and the staff had to bring up to the our room on 2nd floor. I really appreciated the staff tried his very best to get us a fan. The room is nice. However, there were no night tables which caused us inconvenience.

The hotel room is beautiful and clean. I could see the sunset from my room. The breakfast is continental and has no hot food. However, the breakfast area is nice and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

not a lot of communication when It can to booking dinner or what time breakfast was. When we went downstairs at 9am there was only toast and juice available. Which just wasn’t what I imagined

It was very private. The room was comfy and very practical for a nights stay when we were going to a concert.

We expected a better breakfast since the hotel has a restaurant but unfortunately it was very poor.

Room and the view, cleanliness of the room, large TV, peaceful stay, helpful staff (also at the restaurant). We appreciated the Turkish tea both after the dinner and the first day at breakfast.

Think they could do with more than one 4 slice toaster at breakfast!

O wow. The staff welcome you with open arms and are very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and airy apart from one wee dust web was spotless. Bed was comfortable.would of liked a shower rather than bath/shower as have mobility issues but was only there for one night. If staying for longer im sure I could be accommodated? The food in the restraunt is predominantly Tutkish cuisine but to die for. Breakfast is also predominantly Turkish/continental but it's my cup.of tea. The decor through the restraunt bar is of a modern Turkish twist and spotless also. Shall definitely return. Only a 3 minute walk to Uddingston Train Station. Has a lovely parade of shops and eateries nearby too.

Not a lot, there were some minor repairs required but this did not impact on our stay.

It was informal, the staff were exceptionally friendly and whilst we didn’t eat dinner the food looked and smelled great.

Some staff had very poor English and dietary restrictions were not catered for at breakfast. (In contrast the restaurant was very good, the evening before).
