Great location, food superb, breakfast was continental but sufficient for me

Bathroom, tv with Netflix.

Thin mattress with springs, stained duvet, poor breakfast, mislabeled coffee and hot water.

Very modern and nice interior, well designed room

The shower was tepid at best, I think/hope it was a temporary problem

Breakfast

The room was large with high ceiling and bay windows, it felt bright and spacious. The bathroom and walk in shower was lovely and clean. The food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent and the staff were all very nice and friendly. Great location close to rail and bus options, handy for anyone not wanting to stay in the city.

The room would have been even better if there were additional mirrors or a full length mirror. The only mirror was in the bathroom above the sink. The only other improvement would have been to have a small refrigerator to keep drinks and water cool.

The location for my purpose was good.

When I arrived in my room, there had clearly been someone in before me. The shower was still wet. The shower mat was soaking. There were used toiletries in the bathroom. There were used towels in the bathroom. Someone had shaved over the sink and left hair. The toilet was dirty. The ironing board and iron had been left on the floor. I don't think the room had been cleaned before I arrived. I didn't have time to make staff aware as I had to be at an appointment very soon after checking in. There was only a mirror in the bathroom which is no use when I needed a mirror to see to dry and straighten my hair. No information in the room as to when breakfast was served etc. I booked on the basis a "good breakfast" was included. The breakfast consisted of bread, bagels, jams, cheese, cucumber, tomato, cereals, packaged pasties and cakes, juice, coffee and tea. No cooked breakfast. The toaster machine wasn't switched on.

The only issue we had was a slight lack of maintenance in the bathroom, ie the toilet seat was unsecured on one side and obviously not too stable to use. We use showers all the time and in this instance the shower was installed within the bath. The base of the bath in this instance was set too high above the bathroom floor level for my wife and I had to provide assistance to help her get into the shower. The swing shower splash screen did not have an adequate seal between the edge of the bah and the glazing and therefore leaked moisture slightly onto the bathroom floor. This could potentially cause a slip hazard and accident when using the shower, if stepping onto a wet floor in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Will use hotel again soon hopefully. Colin Aitken

Fantastic place to stay ..didn't know what to expect when I booked it ..the room was very spacious and had everything you'd want..the restaurant was very good so much on the menu to choose From..And it was excellent too !

The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely

The breakfast! No hot food and when we asked for more bread for toast as there was only 2 hard slices there we were told there was none left! We were down for breakfast at 8.30!

The staff weren't bad but not a friendly and welcoming

Probably would prefer English style breakfast however it was a nice change and great selection. The pre made coffee was very weak but I am a little ocd when it comes to coffee. Overall clean good selection and lots of comfortable space. Well done

Lovely property, room was comfortable and clean. Restaurant downstairs with lovely food and staff. Very accodomading.
