Hot water pressure very low affected shower and bath . More attention needed to remove cobwebs and dead spiders especially over the bed.

The instructions said that the cottage was "well signposted" from the main road - I'd probably disagree as I wouldn't like to be trying to find it for the first time in the dark!!!! Not close enough to walk to the local pub or restaurant. Unable to open the velux windows in either the bathroom or bedroom for ventilation. Not clear where to park for the dolls house versus the other two cottages on site.

Beautifully appointed, very clean and recently redecorated. Very much in a "dark skies location" on the island - isolated but very comfortable. Modern and good cooking facilities

Its a beautiful island .. We Enjoyed our stay , cottage was very nice and in a lovely location and the facilities good . the only minor things I would point out was that there were lots of old dusty cobwebs in the high ceilings and the extractor in the bathroom didn't work so very steamy

There were a couple of minor issues relating to missing/ faulty items & equipment (as happens occasionally with holiday rental properties)...which were not the fault of the management... and they were very quickly and efficiently rectified. :-) Tracy was very available, polite, professional and accommodating before, during and after our stay.

Beautifully furnished, cozy cottage with well equipped kitchen (in terms of appliances) in a good location with good views and convenient for travelling around the island. :-)

Toilet door had to be forced open as lock badly worn. Bedrooms have no opening windows so very stuffy. French doors in most rooms had tatty pieces of tape round the gaps and the slides were bunged up with small stones so difficult to get any fresh air in. Bare minimum of knives forks and spoons. No dishcloth or tea towels provided. Fans in bedrooms might help with sleeping

The cooking knives are very bad. Some more cutlery would have been nice as well a laundry rack, some hooks for jackets, a toilet paper holder and a hair dryer. The drain in the shower is also quite clogged. As people stated before, the television is very small for the distance to the couch. We had such lovely weather and would have liked to have eaten outside at a picnic table on the grass. There was one, but it was very close to another cottage and we didn't want to intrude.

The Dolls House is super cozy and perfect for two people. There was some tea, coffee and snacks there as a welcoming. That was lovely. Thank you very much. The bed is very, very good - we slept perfectly. The location is perfect. A bit secluded, but not far from everything you need. There are just some small things I can criticize, but I would nevertheless come again.

As stated by others, the steps up and down to the bedroom were tricky. I had thought that was a silly comment, but it's true. If you have mobility issues you will find the steps of 24cm and 29cm hard, up and down into the lounge and bedroom, and the others are 19cm, 19cm and 5cm , straight down into the bathroom door. Velux bedroom windows ....difficult to pull blinds down with long pole, so high up. The hoover was plugged in the lounge area beside the sofa, to charge it. Other sockets were available in the bedroom, much easier to get it out. Dining chair seats not fixed to the frames.

Location, lovely kitchen. Wam and cosy with good bedding. Quality homewares in the kitchen and lots of cushions. Manager/owner was very prompt to rectify most of my concerns on day 1, whilst we were out. A number of niggles that needed to be addressed. Not the dislikes mentioned here.

Couple of down sides to the property, the steps into the bedroom were too steep.. The entrance to the property is low, maybe a mind your head sign for the taller person

Premises was well presented. lovely and clean both inside and out. The shower was very good and a lovely big bath!! The location was great making it accessible for the Laxey wheel and mountain railway.

The steps down into the bathroom. Knew about them prior to arrival - theory seemed OK but in practice found them a bit tricky/precarious at night.

Virtually everything. Cottage was spacious, clean, comfortable & very well equipped (appliances & extras like board games, DVD's & lots of visitor information).

There were no windows in the bedroom, only high Velux windows in the roof. The steps up to the bedroom and down to the en-suite were awkward. Some oven gloves and dishwashing brush/scrubber would have been useful. An ani-slip mat in the bath would have been appreciated.

Good quiet location. We had all the facilities we needed for a short stay. We liked the super kingsize bed. The shower was good, although water leaked under the shower screen onto the bathroom floor.

There is a a plumbing problem. The shower has an unbearable high pitched screech when in use and the toilet bangs through out the property when flushed.

The kitchen is not really adequate for self catering. Not enough utensils, cutlery etc. The instruction sheet needs updating - eg microwave, what to do with rubbish etc.

The bungalow was in a beautiful position overlooking fields to the sea. Laxey is an ideal place for exploring the whole island - to the North or South. The development is peaceful and quiet - perfect for relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Despite the negative comments below, I would certainly return for the view from the accommodation and the peaceful surroundings 🙂

Microwave not very good, this should be straight forward enough! Completely opposite to the instructions. No baking trays to cook food in the oven Not very private, overlooked by two cottages. Could possible do with voiles on the windows, as we had to draw the curtains. Likewise the cottage opposite had their curtains drawn all day. Black patches of condensation in the bathroom above the shower.
