To access the kitchen, we need to cross the road. The kitchen is open only from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM and from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There is only one fridge, and it does not have a freezer. The mattresses are hard. It would be helpful if they could provide a kettle and a microwave in the pod.

The location was pleasant, featuring a river next to the pod.

I booked a camping pod, there is no pods it as a room, however it was a comfortable one with a spacious shower room and toilet so i was still happy enough. I don't think they even have pods so its little weird

    It was cheap

The pods were just awful. We weren't expecting much, but they were inhabitable.

We originally booked the pods, but they were inhabital. However, when we rang up, the guy was very helpful and apologetic and managed to book us in at the hostel across the road at no extras cost. The shared kitchen facilities and our rooms were warm and clean. Recommend the hostel. Do not book the pods!!

I wasn't send the code beforehand and mobile network problem in the area. I called owner and he was insisting I already had the code. He has to manage guest properly.

Our pod (1) did not have a proper lock on it and no door handle. It did not feel very secure. We had no heater in the pod and felt a bit cold during the night.

The location was nice and was very peaceful and quiet, especially next to the river. The pod itself was basic but was nice inside.

The place had great potential but felt let down by poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance. The cabin/shed was warm and dry, but clean sheets and a swept floor would have improved it. A bit more care and attention generally would make a big difference. Also, having someone on site would have been good.

Good location. Shower block had plenty of facilities. Hostel kitchen and dining area across the road had all we needed.

The pod was very old and didnt look as neat as in the pictures. Not all the lights worked and one light made a annoying buzzing sound. It was very minimal. You only get the red matresses and nothing else. It was very cold at night. The trashcans were very full and the shared rooms were very dirty. We also never saw someone who worked there.

We stayed in pod 4 for 3 nights. The location is beautiful and in front of the pod there is a small river and fire place which we liked very much. The shared kitchen has all the things you would need.

Property does not come with any linens, pillows or doonas. Was not made aware of this until accomodation was already booked, bought sleeping bags from Asda and donated them afterwards. Shower was colder than Loch Ness as we hadn’t been told we had to turn on the hot water from outside the shower room prior to entering.

Good value for money. Place to sleep and that’s it. There is a kitchen in the hostel area that had good amenities (think 7 kettles and 3 fridges)

Beds not comfortable, no working tv, and the person on the phone cheeky, and no proper instructions "just a room number" so when I phone i got a cheeky reply key in the door! Why could the email say this! And we got off lightly as they had no running hot water issue so we got upgraded from the glamping huts to hostel and neither of them are much better, huts all ran down and so is the hostel, the only advantage was the shared house with sofas n kitchen was ok but no working tv again or an old dvd/video player from the 90s yet again all tv aerials cut and a tv remote that heated up the batterys that burnt my hand and melted!

    Time with my friends

we were looking for a place near river with BBQ facilities, then we booked this. however , the owner is using different app for communication and they sent us a text in morning of our departure saying the camp has no electricity and they have moved us to a sister hostel . That was disappointing as we wanted a one night stay by the river ( away from city ), not staying in hostel . anyway we saw the text when we arrived in Loch Ness , then we went to site and noticed no one is there to tell us what is going on. owner showed up later and she was a nice person. we had some food and went to that sister hostel. The sister hostel was warm , but toilet and floor were so dirty.

The Glamping is located in a nice area by the river - sadly no one is looking after this as it is full of rubbish .
