Steps up to apartment very dirty Cleanliness of apartment could of been better

We would like to report the following issues: • Water leaks through the kitchen ceiling when someone takes a shower. We had to stop using the shower. • The Wi-Fi password is written incorrectly. • The stairwell could use a fresh coat of paint, as it is not very welcoming. • I received several messages from Booking.com asking for the £300 deposit, although it was already paid by Visa on May 28, 2025. There is no damage to report, and the keys have been returned to the safety boxes.

Bunk beds , bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly dusty and hairs . No plug for bath . No washing machine , top floor 4 flights of stairs .

Location was good . Lovely view , double bed was comfy . Living room and kitchen were good size and clean . Good communication

room had water pouring in the kitchen if you used the bath .we had forgotten our main building key on Sunday night .had the room key .came home from meal at 10.30 rang another room to see if they open main door for us to be told no .rang the emergency number left a message and pressed 4 if emergency as we had our elderly patients with us .hrs later nothing we had to find alternative place to stay the Sunday. finally had a call back next day at about 10 am .used the service button in the morning to enter the building and get into our room .these people should never be aloud to rent this property as if it was winter and we didn't have money to rent a hotel people could have die it's a disgrace .ps nothing is said about the 7 flights of stairs or the £300 bond you have to pay 10 days before your stay after you book

The whole place is very tired looking and to be honest looked like it had suffered smoke damage at some point. Walls were dirty and the carpet on the stairs was very marked also. Lots of signs of damp in the accommodation on the ceilings. Would have been good to have had some note also about the lack of lift in the block and the number of stairs to get to it.

The communal areas need some attention. In the bunk bedroom it would be nice to have a mirror in there and the main light needs a new bulb. It would be nice to have some egg cups and a bread knife.

There was no washer or dryer as stated. Only one roll of toilet paper for 5 guest for 6 days. We had to go buy our own.

We were only given the internal door key, and not the fob for the external door. On arrival the service button worked so we thought no more about it. We went out for the day the next day and when we returned the service button was locked down. We contacted everyone we could, no help, did not care. We ended up on the streets freezing for the night, as no local hotels available. The next day the nightmare continued. The host did not answer the phone or messages. A cleaner came round and was supposed to have a fob. Not only was she quite rude with us, after a first accusing us of losing a fob, we were never given. She then changed her story and said that the fob was lost in April by a previous guest and never replaced. That she did have one but does not use it, or knew where it was! We had no choice to book alternative accommodation. I am still waiting for a response and for my trip to be reimbursed and for my £300 deposit to be returned. Please avoid at all cost. This has been my worst ever experience at booking accommodation.

The apartment has amazing views over the lake, it modern and clean, comfortable, just lovely.

The listing said in multiple places that a washing machine was included, which was a large reason we chose the place because we knew we’d need to do laundry. There was also a laundry room key in the apartment but when I emailed the person for details on how to access the laundry, they rudely let me know there’s no laundry facilities included. Also they provided 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for us and we had to purchase our own toilet paper.

The location was good and we at least received the bare minimum essentials like a clean towel for each person.
