We loved our stay at the Dozy Deer. Even though it was less than 24 hrs, the communication was excellent, the facilities wonderful, the decor amazing and as we were departing early, we absolutely loved the 'breakfast room' where we could get an excellent real coffee before we left. I dug the vibe. Earthy. Hip now and wow. Kozy That Dozy Deer. You should stay here! I mean the room was tight, but the amenities were great, nice cappuccino, espresso, coffee machine, teas, bickies, and fresh fruit. All in a groovy lil dining area. Bright. 2 Windows in room that actually opened! Not so common anymore. Walk to town easy peesy. Nice big open space parc just round the corner.

The property was very clean and well-maintained. Its location was convenient—just a 15-minute walk from the station, with restaurants and cafes nearby. Beth, the host, was extremely helpful. She provided clear directions before our arrival, assisted with storing our luggage, and even gave us access to the main floor flat after check-out so we could wait comfortably. The property had a nice dining area with complimentary coffee and fresh fruits available for guests throughout the day, which was a thoughtful touch. One thing that could have improved the stay was the addition of a microwave for heating food, which was missing. Overall, our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

This was our first trip to Windermere, The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Train Station. We were greeted at the reception by owners Beth and Craig. The room size was very good considering that we were 4 people. Nicely decorated, Comfortable beds, nice paintings, nice street view & not to mention fragrances in the room. Free Coffee /Tea/ Fruits and biscuits were also available. The hotel is centrally located with lots of breakfast options / other dining restaurant. We would definitely visit again.

There wasn't anything I could say that could improve our stay.

A 15 min walk from the station, with plenty of shops, cafes, bars on the way. A Sainsbury's, Boots & Co-op all on route. A lovely little guest house on a quiet street. Easy access to property on arrival. Beth sends message with instructions about keys. Very clean & fresh, a little coffee bar in the front room with tables to enjoy your drinks. There was a book swap & board games available. The walk down to the lake is straightforward & takes about 20 mins. Plenty to see on way down with a few pubs, cafes, shops on the way. We even walked back up, a bit slower than the way down but stopped off at a pub for food halfway back. Would definitely stay again.

Mattress was a bit soft and the radiator fell off once but was able to hook it back on. The fridge is a communal fridge (not in room) and can be small if you plan to grab many things or if many guests. If you are a sensitive to light when sleeping maybe bring an eye mask.

Beth was extremely kind on our arrival and allowed us in earlier on a very wet day. She was able to get the room ready for us earlier than expected and allowed us to use tea and coffee making facilities which was super helpful during our two night stay. There are access to the public transport routes and hiking routes or alternatively if you have a car you can access many areas around the lake! A bonus was the millionaire shortbread and chocolate tiffin left out which I still don't know where they were from or if home made but they were delicious!

Honour first night there was a lit of noise of people walking past pur room, at times it felt like they were going to walk in, the second night was much quieter.

The radiator stand in the room i stayed was broken, fixed to the point of looking fixed but not stable which needs attention

The location was great, quite street yet close to shops and restaurants Not sure if they had breakfast offered, but they have coffee machines and plenty of teas in dining room where could also have your dinner Additional they have small fridge if you wanna store food or drinks there

Very modern and clean property. The dining room with coffee machine, fridge, biscuits, and games was a lovely touch and very useful. Made us feel right at home. Lovely birthday treat left on the bed as well.
