We loved our stay at the Dozy Deer. Even though it was less than 24 hrs, the communication was excellent, the facilities wonderful, the decor amazing and as we were departing early, we absolutely loved the 'breakfast room' where we could get an excellent real coffee before we left. Thank you Beth, it was wonderful and good luck with the new arrival next month. Cheers Penny and Roger

Such a cozy little guest house! Beth and her husband were super hospitable and made out stay very pleasant. Highly recommended!

I dug the vibe. Earthy. Hip now and wow. Kozy That Dozy Deer. You should stay here! I mean the room was tight, but the amenities were great, nice cappuccino, espresso, coffee machine, teas, bickies, and fresh fruit. All in a groovy lil dining area. Bright. 2 Windows in room that actually opened! Not so common anymore. Walk to town easy peesy. Nice big open space parc just round the corner.

The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the room was spotless and comfortable. Also in a great location and amazing value for money.

The stay at the dozy deer was outstanding. The owners were very friendly and the place was ideal, close to the Windermere centre, easy to park. Free coffee in the morning aswell!

The property was in an excellent location, the room and facilities were excellent and the hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant.

The property was very clean and well-maintained. Its location was convenient—just a 15-minute walk from the station, with restaurants and cafes nearby. Beth, the host, was extremely helpful. She provided clear directions before our arrival, assisted with storing our luggage, and even gave us access to the main floor flat after check-out so we could wait comfortably. The property had a nice dining area with complimentary coffee and fresh fruits available for guests throughout the day, which was a thoughtful touch. One thing that could have improved the stay was the addition of a microwave for heating food, which was missing. Overall, our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

The rooms and location were beautiful. They had a really excellent coffee, tea, and hot chocolate stand set up and a lovely dining room where we played board games in the evening. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and check in was easy.

The shower in our room was electric, so it got a bit cold by the end. It was quite minor and my fiancé had a perfectly hot shower afterwards, so maybe it was just me taking too long!

The name and coffee room

This was our first trip to Windermere, The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Train Station. We were greeted at the reception by owners Beth and Craig. The room size was very good considering that we were 4 people. Nicely decorated, Comfortable beds, nice paintings, nice street view & not to mention fragrances in the room. Free Coffee /Tea/ Fruits and biscuits were also available. The hotel is centrally located with lots of breakfast options / other dining restaurant. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely guest house with just a short 2 min walk to all the local amenities. So welcoming and clean. Perfect spot in Windermere. Fantastic value you for money

only thing that could be improved was the door between the room and bathroom, we were in room 1 and the sliding door wasn’t easy to work.
