There was nothing to dislike.

I went with my daughter for a last hurrah before she goes on to university. We loved it, the room was very large and the house was beautifully decorated and we had a lovely meal ( with a discount for staying here) at Naxos in town. The breakfast made by lovely Jane ,was incredible, we rolled out of there, fully fed. Tremendous value for money and beautiful. Mark was lovely too.

Beautiful Grade II listed property which has been superbly renovated and decorated to a very high standard. A complete air of calm and tranquility, exceptional host and first class breakfast. Martyn also sent a very detailed email several days before our visit recommending restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. We were spoilt for choice….and even got a discount at Naxos (which was also superb) in the town by saying we’d been recommended by Belle Vue. Overall we would highly recommend Belle Vue Guest House.

The property was much more than expected, stunning location, free parking, quiet, trendy, clean, very spacious rooms, beds unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast ( I think the best I’ve had). I chose bacon, avocado , tomato on sourdough. Delicious. 😋. Martyn greeted us on arrival, helped with our bag and showed us up to our room. Couldn’t ask for better service. Would definitely recommend.

Martyn was a very attentive host and was very helpful. Breakfast is optional but not to be missed. It’s very good. My room was Nelson on the ground floor. It was very generous and comfortable with a large sofa that could be used as a second bed. The bathroom was a very high standard. The whole property is well cared for and of a very high standard. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m over from Australia.

Beautiful comfortable decor. Lovely location and easy to find. Free onsite parking. Friendly welcome on arrival. The best nights sleep! We didn’t need breakfast on this occasion but the menu and breakfast options to choose from looked great. We hope to return and stay again.

An excellent B&B. Communication from the hosts is great, with lots of information to help make the stay enjoyable. The rooms, and the whole building, are finished to a very high standard and it’s immaculately clean throughout. The bed was really comfortable, I slept very well, despite the warm summer night. Breakfast was perfect with lots of choice.

We decided to go on a spontaneous escape as a family and Belle Vue Guest House was our first stop, we wanted somewhere that was on the way to the coastal destination we had in mind that was well presented, family friendly and within a sensible budget. Belle Vue was exceptional and we would definitely want to visit again and explore more of the surrounding areas. There are about 5 rooms in total, which made it feel quite intimate. Almost like staying with family members for the weekend. The location was easy to find, nice and quiet location. Decor is of good taste and rooms presented very nicely. If you’re planning to stay we would recommend booking with the breakfast too! Thank you Belle Vue Gueat House!

The property is beautifully maintained and very tastefully decorated. The garden and patio area offered a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee and a glass of wine for our group of friends who were staying in 3 separate rooms.

Absolutely nothing

This is an absolutely stunning property, inside and out. Our room was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable and there were so many lovely, thoughtful touches. And very, very clean! Our host, Martyn, was exceptional: attentive, gave great recommendations for food in the area and places to visit, and went out of his way to make sure we were all comfortable. I cannot recommend Belle Vue enough and looking forward to return soon
