Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe could not fault the property or owners one bit, perfect stay.
The property was in a quiet and peaceful location, it out looked on to some beautiful Welsh scenery, farmland, donkeys and sheep. The hut was perfect, practical and had all we needed for a week stay/adventure around wales with our pooch. The hut was cosy and quaint. The owners decorated the hut as it was my partners 30th, which was a lovely surprise for him. Our dog also got a hot spot while away and the owners were lovely and offered help and gave us a come to use to keep him safe.

The property is so beautiful, it’s so off grid we have never been anywhere like it before. Awel and John made sure we had the best stay, left a bottle of Prosecco out for our anniversary and kept up topped up logs for the fire. Waking up with the animals it’s amazing, honestly not difficult to find either Apple Maps takes you straight to the Hut. The Hut is equipped with everything you need and the shower is better than ours at home! Bed super comfy and all the bits in the kitchen to have food. Our doggie loved it and the fenced off area is a huge bonus! Great pub in walking distance and the walks are fantastic nearby. 5* would recommend

United KingdomBeautiful place to stay, hosts couldn’t be more attentive… checking how our stay was, asking if we needed anything, saying there’s no rush to check out. Honestly, we travel a lot and stay in many hotels and lodges but this by far has been the best. We checked in at 2am, luckily it’s a self check in service which made it so much easier after travelling 5 hours to get there. If you’re looking for a stay in Llanwrda, this is the place you NEED to go!!! Hopefully we are around the area again soon, we won’t think twice and will certainly come back. Well done folks👏🏻

United Kingdomthe cooking facilities were enough for the 2 nights we spent but a built in hob which would’ve made it easier to cook a meal instead of eating out, it would’ve been nice to be able to cook dinner and eat it outside with the view!
the perfect remote location for a quiet break away! the hut is very peaceful, having the sheep right outside was so lovely to sit outside with a cup of tea in the mornings. the host was so lovely ! the log burner was so so cosy, we loved it’

The scenery, the quietness, the friendly donkeys greeting us, the hut itself had everything you can possible need including wifi. The hosts were friendly and made sure we had all privacy while being available if we need anything. United KingdomTrack leading up to the hut had huge pot holes which scraped under my car in places.
Extremely quiet in an idyllic location and not too hard to find. Comfortable and cozy with modern facilities and a log burner, the gardens fenced off which is perfect for a dog too. The local pub does great food too!

United KingdomThis place is a little slice of heaven. It’s impeccably clean and tidy and so so so beautiful inside, it’s simply all around stunning. When we got to the property Awel (the owner) had left us a bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful bunch of flowers for our anniversary, it’s was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. You have the most stunning views and beautiful donkeys as your neighbours! Everything you could ever need for a quite night away from a busy city life. We can’t wait to return next year already!

United KingdomThe only think if i was being super super picky, is if the garden bit was more level and trimmed a bit more it would make for a slightly better garden area but other than that it was perfect, and hard to find anything to not like.
Where do I start! We had a warm welcome from Awel and John. They were there for all our needs but also left us to our own devices which was great. The Hut came with everything you could need, and we are photographers who have alot of kit and it accomodated us perfectly. The views from the hut are sensational, with our next door neighbours being donkeys. We sat in the egg chairs and stargazed as we sipped on the prosecco that was left for us for our anniversary by Awel and John. I am very picky when it comes to bathrooms and base my stays on how good the bathrooms are, and this was like being in a hotel. a large power shower ( my shoulders felts massaged) and a beautiful sink and toilet, the view over th fields as you are brushing your teeth was insane at sunrise. The Kitchen was fully kitted out and had that country cottage feel. The log burner was lit one of the nights which really gave it a cozy vibe, our dog didnt move from it all evening. The small thoughtful touches were perfect, even just there being poo bags for the dog, and wifi. The beds were super comfy too, i think we slept a full 7 hrs and did not wake up once ! Over all this is a perfect base for people who want to explore the rolling countryside of midwales and coast , and we will most definately be returning again.
