United KingdomOur Stay in the Curlew Lodge on Blackthorn gate was everything we wanted in a mini break away, lots to do in & around the Cabin & just the most amazing views very relaxing on the veranda 🤩 We have 2 children too so plenty of room for a family of 4 & we all loved the hot Tub & the sauna it has on one of the bathrooms! That was a lovely surprise for us as I didn't see it included when I booked it! The owners are very helpful as I spoke to Rita afew times by text & on the phone & there's a guy on site you can grab if you have any queries. If you want a day out we travelled to Northallerton only 20 mins down the road & any bits of shopping theres a Co-op at Nunthorpe or Great Ayton village couple minutes either way. We'd definitely return. Thankyou for a fabulous stay xx

The facilities are amazing, the staff when speaking with them on the phone are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I have been twice and have not me them yet, which isn’t a negative, it shows they are letting you enjoy and relax! I am going again as well, I highly recommend it, it’s soooo relaxing, the hot tub is well worth it, even if the weather isn’t that good, the sauna was great, loved every minute!
