Nothing to dislike

Loved it as soon as we arrived, Sam met us and showed us around, she is really friendly and helpful. Fantastic shepherds hut, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, the bed was super comfy too. The surroundings are peaceful and calm, with a lovely private garden and great views over our lovely County. The weather wasn’t great but it didn’t spoil the experience one bit. Thank you Sam and Steve.

There was nothing to dislike.

Very private and felt safe due to lockable gate. Cleanliness 100%. The welcome pack was amazing, everything you would want or need, crisps, chocolate, cereals and milk, Sam was very friendly when giving the keys and informative of the area.The location of the hut and the setting are perfect, wish our stay had been more than 1 night, definitely want to return for longer.

There is nothing not to like.

The whole stay was exceptional, from contact prior to arriving, to meeting us with the keys. I'd mentioned it was my friends birthday and they had put banners up and left a card and a bottle for her which was a lovely touch. You can tell there has been a lot of thought gone into the whole place, you have everything you need and more. The garden is beautifully kept and would have been lovely to sit out in had the weather of been nice. The hut is so cosy with beautiful views and it felt really peaceful and tranquil. Perfect after a long day of hiking. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a cosy getaway full of peace and quiet.

A perfect, peaceful and secluded hut in gorgeous Northumberland. The views are beautiful and the outdoor space is fantastic. The shepherd’s hut is easy to find and the communication was excellent from Sam & Steve. They really had thought of everything, which made the hut extremely welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nothing it was superb!

We thought this shepherd hut was absolutely fantastic. Everything had been thought of! We had our own entrance to the garden with firepit, wood, and even marshmallows if you wanted them. A basket of breakfast cereals supplied with a pint of milk, which made a fabulous cup of tea too. The shower was lovely and warm, as was the towel rail. We would definitely stay again! Communication was excellent!

Lovely little Shepherd hut with its own garden space and gorgeous views. Decorated beautifully by our super welcoming host. We have already said we will come back to explore the area a little more as its close to Hadrians wall and a roman fort with lots of walking trails nearby.

Beautiful little cottage, cosy and quiet, surrounded by nature. It’s very clean, everything seems brand new and you have all you need! Loved the garden and the view from the windows. The fire pit was a nice touch, although I didn’t get a chance to use it!

Everything was perfect. No TV which might bother some people but wasn't an issue for me.

What a beautiful shepherds hut, really well thought out with everything I could have needed. I received a very warm welcome and shown how everything worked. The host didn't bat an eyelid at my wet clothes and walking boots, just gave me some newspaper to stuff the boots with! Lots of cereals, hot drinks and treats provided. The bed was large and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend. Just off the Pennine Way so good for walkers. Nice pub down the road for food and drinks (do book for dinner).

Brilliant facilities making brilliant use of the small size of the hut. Very cosy and lovely views. Sam was very helpful with sorting out food as we walked there. Ideal stop off from the Hadrian’s Wall Path.

Everything. Property was beautiful and clean. As I was walking Hadrians Wall when I arrived the owner kindly took me to the local supermarket so I could stock up on supplies. There was also a lovely welcome pack with snacks. Highly recommend to anyone.

The experience we had at Braeside Shepherd's Hut was exactly what we needed after cycling 9 hours. Being greeted with a huge welcome and shown around the hut. Security and privacy was maintained, ideal to leave bike when leaving the hut. Outside and inside the hut was very tidy, well presented. A very relaxing and comfortable sleep ready to continue our bike ride to Sunderland.
