We loved everything.. The room, the decor the quality of the finish and Sally was such a great host. The garden is amazing and there's even a swing in the tree. And Gandalf the cat is gorgeous!

Sally was really friendly and super welcoming. She had printed off and sheet of local and honest recommendations. The place was really lovely and very clean, as a bonus had a lovely view of the countryside. We stayed here for our visit to Longleat which was just a couple of minutes down yeh road.

Super friendly welcome. Beautiful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Invited to sit in garden to watch the sunset. The unexpected homemade breakfasts were a real treat. Richard and Sally are excellent hosts and Sally is a zen-master sourdough maker!

Everything was perfect. The owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The place was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The garden is peaceful, the area is beautiful, and the pets are adorable. There’s a Lidl just 7 minutes away by car if you need to pick up anything before your stay. To future guests, please be respectful and leave everything as you found it.

A few items for a small breakfast would be a nice touch (like porridge pot and cereals). But as said above, Sally was very accommodating in bringing extra things for us.

Loved the place, very nice host which made us feel very welcomed. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, Bathroom is nice and clean with option for a bath or shower. Selections of teas and coffees available provided which fresh milk and waters in fridge. Thank you Sally for providing bowls and extra milk for our cereals ( that we brought) and also for the hot chocolate for my daughter. My daughter loved interacting with their cat Gandalf and used their swing.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Location was perfect. We had spent the day at Longleat and were ready for a quiet and relaxing evening. With a mere 10 minute drive and great directions from Sally the host, we were soon on the driveway, receiving a warm welcome and a cold beer. Sally recommended a great pub with delicious food within an easy 10 minute drive. We could not have asked for a better host, location or room for our short trip. Thanks again 😁

Nothing, everything was perfect

We had the most amazing 1 night stay here following a trip to Longleat, which is just over a mile away. We were greeted by the loveliest host who was very friendly and helpful about the surrounding area and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The suite is beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed and sofa; we had an amazing night's sleep. There is a large smart TV in the room with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, which gave lots of options for a movie in the evening. The bathroom is also fantastic with a luxurious big bath and shower. The hosts provide everything that you would need whilst away - fresh bottled water, milk, tea/coffee, body wash, bath salts, shampoo & conditioner, towels, flannels, hairdryer, kettle etc, having a fridge in the room was also great. Everything about our stay was perfect; the grounds of the house are absolutely beautiful and it is in the most peaceful countryside location, just what was needed for a relaxing night away! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your beautiful suite ❤️

I have no issues whatsoever to flag, but some may want to consider that it is located in a rural area with a cattle farm not too far away but, it's the countryside! Longleat is a five minute drive, so ideal if visiting. There's a pub 5 minutes walk down the road too. Absolute dream location.

Sally and Richard are quite possibly the nicest, warmest hosts I've had the pleasure of staying with. From the very first point of contact to check in on arrival times, to providing local tips on where and when to visit places nearby. They even guided us to visit the once-a-month farmers market in Frome on the morning of our departure, and helped secure a super secret local parking spot too. This is a fantastic setting with an easy access driveway (with room to turn around in) and the equally friendly greeting from their cats and dogs made our visit feel even more like home. We were made welcome by everyone. If you're lucky enough to have a magnificent sunset each evening like we were, you'll be gifted with a wonderful view in the front garden on a summers eve sat outside. Always on hand to provide anything that was needed for the room and it must be said that Sally makes a fantastic sourdough, which was delivered each morning with a smile. Lovely bathroom with a substantial bath tub and walk in shower with ample towels and toilet rolls provided. Basic items like water, milk and even a bottle of prosecco were also provided in the fridge for our arrival too, along with plentiful cups, plates, glasses and cutlery to see us through our stay. 10/10 would 100% return and recommend. It’s a shame that I only had one thing that was a problem for me, and that is that the door to the room doesn’t work properly, so I had to put my valuables in the car, whilst we were out to keep them safe.

It was very handy for visiting Longleat. It was nice to come back to a lovely warm and clean room. Sally made us feel very welcome and even made us fresh sourdough bread and a lovely coffee in the morning.

The property is in a quiet country lane . There is a pub at the end of the lane but it was closed and we had to drive to another pub to get an evening meal . There was nowhere nearby to take breakfast and if we had known that I would have brought fruit and muesli bars to tide us over … it was a shame but the lack of readily available food was a bit of a problem

Everything was amazing there is nothing I could fault.

The host was absolutely amazing and so welcoming. This is the first time we have stayed in a style of home like this and I would 100% do it again over a hotel. There is a huge driveway for parking, the location was perfect for longleat and the room was extremely homely. The interior was very modern and everything you could want for a stay. The host in the morning bought us fresh cooked bread, coffee and fruit. It was a lovely touch to add on to the trip.
